Trump said something outside a press gaggle that I don’t think enough people caught.
A reporter called him out on the corruption. He gave three responses.
1. I have the right to do it.
2. He’s not stealing that much. A billion or two billion dollars. Not that much money. Classic Trump.
3. People don’t care.
That’s the permission structure. Our collective apathy is what they’re using to justify everything happening in Washington right now.

BREAKING: Back in March Trump claimed that the US blew up a "drug trafficking training camp," in Ecuador and released this video of the attack.
Today we just found out, thanks to the New York Times, that it was actually a dairy farm.
The US Government stated at the time:
"At the request of Ecuador, the Department of War executed targeted action to advance our shared objective of dismantling narco-terrorist networks. This operation demonstrates the power of coordinated action and sends a clear message: narco-terrorist networks will not find refuge in our hemisphere."

🚨THIS IS INSAAANNEEE: Iranian warship was invited to India’s MILAN 2026 naval exercises. Its sailors marched in a parade. They stood beside American sailors.
Then the US withdrew from the exercise.
Then they torpedoed the ship on its way home.
Then they left the sailors to drown.
Sri Lanka recovered the bodies.
This is not warfare. There is a word for luring a guest into your home and killing them on the way out.
We have video of the IRIS Dena contingent marching in Vishakhapatnam on February 19th. We have the US withdrawal on record. We have 80+ sailors dead and a Sri Lankan navy doing the recovery work America refused to do.
And the American media response has been indifference.
Girls’ schools bombed. Carpet-bombing Tehran floated like a policy option. A Marine’s hand broken for saying no in public.
When cruelty becomes strategy and atrocity becomes routine — the people who stay silent become part of it.

In 2023, as part of a prisoner swap releasing 5 Americans, his admin unfroze $6B of Iran's own oil revenue (frozen in South Korea under prior sanctions). It moved to Qatar accounts, restricted to humanitarian buys only (food/medicine)—and access was blocked after Hamas's Oct 7 attack; Iran spent none of it.
Separately, Biden renewed Trump-era waivers letting Iraq pay Iran ~$10B for electricity/gas exports (Iran's revenue, not U.S. funds).
Critics call it appeasement freeing Iranian resources for proxies; the admin said restrictions held and no new sanctions relief occurred.
