Mahalo for showing me $293 after hours, so I went DND at dinner to miss any early assignment notifications and to sleep peacefully. Thank you for no early assignment 🙏🏻 and the bounce around 6am HST (Noon ET) so I could roll out and down for an $1,100 credit. That same order which filled for the credit has now become a debit as the slide continues. Mahalo for the realized loss for Uncle Sam in 2026, while dodging $325k of extra stock. Actually, yes😼 Update on my attempts to harvest tax losses🙃 Realized losses this week so far: -$114,417.48 This morning, I expected to see some sweet tax losses in $TSLA due to the overnight drop. But the 387.50P and 385P ITM positions were green due to IV Crush. So I waited. They finally went red and I caught a decent low at 3pm/9am EST. As long as $TSLA holds above 366-367, it’s still not bearish. Counterintuitive moves since I need to pay as much as possible to BTC, before theta decay and price stabilization reduce the put price and decrease deductible losses. $META : Foiled by yesterday's AH spike, saved by today's red! $SPCX : The 147.5 and 146 puts I sold on earnings day all went in the money, but the positions are still green. To avoid realizing gains, I may take assignment of the shares, which will have an adjusted basis in the 130's.
