Friday mood activated: the group chat says “come over,” you show up with the top-shelf bottle, and suddenly you’re everyone’s MVP of the night. ✨ #FridayNight

What started with one WhatsApp conversation in 2020 led to first in person meeting in 2026? Community & Relationships are always built on long term… #communityledgrowth #strategy #growth

Most brands still chase followers.
Smart ones build communities that chase them back. Community-Led Growth > paid ads. We need both to scale, sustain, & grow. One helps with visibility & excitement & the other keeps on getting them back.

There is always a tussle between immediate sales, revenue, & long term strategic growth. Balancing both hand in hand is part of the entrepreneurial journey. I met a founder friend whose company was acquired a year ago… Rest of the tweet in comment…

The joke was that even though sales is no longer part of his role. He does it so that that company makes money and he will get his due variable pay.

Successful Acquisition still keeps the entrepreneurial streak going even though monthly salary is promised.

A Saturday that was supposed to be occupied and happening was spent at home watching what exactly is happening in Delhi being glued to X spaces and Insta Memes.

Orkut was the first social platform that I had used extensively from 2006 till 2011. Found Old School friends, made new ones and some more. As a community person, totally agree with Friendship, Community, & Belonging. Waiting for this bro reach critical mass.
The internet should help us find our people. Friendship. Community. A place to belong. Help me bring Orkut back in that spirit. Add your name at orkut.com and share your supporter card with someone you want to bring along. Love, Orkut

Go & Talk to the prospects… Works every time & everywhere.
I am sitting in blue tokai in Whitefield and a VC is (rightfully so) absolutely grilling two founders who’ve not spoken to 100s of their customers yet and are giving very vague answers. He sounds like a VC who genuinely gives a shit. Whether you go to YC or you don’t, talking to your ICP should be part of the daily grind and retention should be a priority from day zero.

Turning followers into participants & recurring members beats all the vanity metrics. Vanity Metrics provide signals, but they can also be false reassurances... Putting a face to the name for consumers to brands beats every time. #communityledgrowth #community #communityled

Having Reach and Building Relationships are two different things… Recently spoke to a creator with 100k followers on Instagram, they got cold feet when the discussion went beyond engagement on content. Brands have similar story.

A Market Research call was supposed to be about consumer brands for a person who is health conscious and does some fitness activity regularly. Don’t think the answers would add any value to the brand as the conversation was very open ended & not narrowing down to anything.

A Coorg based startup just launched specialty Indian coffee in 400+ coffee shops in Greece and Cyprus. On International Coffee Day, Indian startup, The Coorg Coffee Club, launched in partnership with Coffee Island, one of Europe's largest specialty coffee retailers, with more than 500 stores globally. The collection was formally launched by India's Ambassador to Greece, Shri Ravi Shankar. Every pack carries the estate's name. Scan the QR and the farmer introduces himself. This is what happens when a local product becomes a local enterprise. The value travels all the way back to the farm and the FARMER. For me, there is a much bigger India story here. We have extraordinary raw material in this country - coffee, spices, textiles, fruits, crafts and so much more. Yet too often, much of the value gets created and captured somewhere else. What happens when we stop selling only the raw material? When we process it better. Premiumise it. Tell the story of its origin. Build a brand around it. And take it to the world in its best possible form. Coorg today. Patna, Gaya, Darbhanga tomorrow. That's what ShuruKar is for. होकर निडर, शुरू कर 🇮🇳 Congratulations to The Coffee Club, Coffee Island, and the growers behind it. @karumbk Disclosure: I’m an angel investor in The Coorg Coffee Club.

Went for SIR 2026 verification to the local municipal corporation office and the process was smooth with bare minimum Intervention that too on a holiday. Looks like this process is to link Aadhar with Voter Id card. #SundayMusings
