.@DougBurgum TRUTH BOMB: "America produces energy cleaner, smarter, and safer than anywhere in the world. When energy production is restricted in America, it doesn't reduce demand, it just shifts production to countries like Russia and Iran..." WATCH:

Just got back from Lansing, where we turned in 23,497 signatures from registered voters across the state of Michigan to qualify for the ballot. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this critical milestone- we could not have done it without you!

Democrats are more outraged that Biden described Laken Riley’s murderer as an ‘illegal’ than they are that an illegal murdered Laken Riley.
BREAKING: President Biden now says he regrets using the word ‘illegal’ to describe the suspected killer of 22-year-old nursing student Laken Riley in Georgia. Biden tells MSNBC he should have used the word ‘undocumented’ instead.

Made a pit stop today at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee. Michigan’s iron industry was more valuable that the California gold rush and mined 90% of the ore used to build the Arsenal of Democracy during WWII! Also got a chance to try my hand at loading a freighter:

Chief Craig was a worthy Senate candidate, and he’d make a fantastic Mayor of Detroit if he chooses to run. I really enjoyed the chance to get to know the Chief during this campaign, and am excited to see where he directs his passion for public service next.
NEWS: Republican James Craig, the former Detroit police chief, is suspending his campaign for Michigan's U.S. Senate seat. He's now considering running for mayor of Detroit, he says in an interview this evening. detroitnews.com/story/news/p…

This is the old Michigan Central Station. For decades it was abandoned, hopeless and a target for the world to poke fun at Detroit’s demise. It’s now bought by Ford and renovated into an innovation center. Look at rhe @Lions drone show above it now. How poetic. Pic: @visitdetroit

Had that judge in Delaware not caught and flagged the plea deal, these are the charges David Weiss was prepared to bury. THIS. Some political pressure, and voila: a brutal battery of dead-to-rights felonies. Really gives you confidence in the system.

It is CRITICAL that we derive the right message--and avoid deriving the wrong one--from Liz Magill's "voluntary" resignation. The wrong one is that universities like Penn need more restrictions of speech. The right one is that double standards will no longer be tolerated.
President Liz Magill has just now voluntarily tendered her resignation as President of the University of Pennsylvania. She will remain a tenured faculty member at Penn Carey Law.
