I jumped the gun announcing mystery PKO a little early last week, but ACR is finally running some this weekend. $109 500k, $33 100k and $5 50k gtd.
This should be a really fun variant IMO, check it out.
We are trying to make sure Americans have something good to play after work, and rewarding you for doing so. If you're from the US, get in the 10 events in the lobby with a 🇺🇲 next to them to earn points for US only leader board that'll get you tickets to the Sunday Majors

My first guest tonight is a special one, Andrew, "Big Andy" Batkin. We first met 23 years ago in the NYC poker scene, and he has been my head coach ever since. We bonded over the intangibles of live poker, he's the best. So grateful to have him in my corner, a lot of late night talks followed by coffee the next day. Then The Fox graces us, or as our friend Bucky likes to call him the, "second best Foxen" lol. Family rankings aside often in games or sports we don't fully appreciate these guys until they're gone. Honored for a sit down with an all time great and a true living legend. Sirius XM Mad Dog Sports Radio CH 82, 5pm PST 🙏
If you look close enough, you can see that I am literally sweating just at the thought of tomorrow's session. @ACR_POKER with the incredible schedule, get involved.
Beyond the clear aesthetic benefits of bigger stacks, the color-up obsession has technical drawbacks as well. Playing 1500bb with no 100s in play forces players to 2x, 2.33x, or 2.67x. Almost no one would choose these sizes if unrestricted. Forcing such limited choices in terms of sizing hurts the ability to he precise way beyond what is reasonable.
Blind levels should not be amended to fit a color up schedule. Chips should only be taken out of play once they are no longer needed while using a standard 1:2 sb to bb ratio. You should always be able to bet in increments that represent at most 10% of 1 bb with the exception of the earliest levels.
This would mean that 100s come out once entering 5k bb 500s come out after 10k bb is complete. 1ks in play until 50k bb is complete. We shouldn't sacrifice bet size options for the ease of the TD (within reason)
The exception is in turbo events where all ins occur frequently. Aggressive color up is more necessary when stacks are needed to be counted regularly. In an event like the WSOP Main, where all ins are quite rare even as far along as day 5/6 , having larger stacks is a no brainer.
Finally received the coolest trophy I have ever won.
Getting in some post-WSOP recovery and ready to get back in the online streets for Venom in a couple of weeks. @ACR_POKER
