"That is ridiculous, however, what you all should know is the Hawks Arena is owned by the Atlanta Hawks owners, the Hawks owners do not own the Atlanta Dream, when you look at this from a business standpoint, if you're the Atlanta Hawks, are you using this to say 'hey, sell us this team, we should have this team'... if the Atlanta Hawks owners owned the Dream, I'm sure they'd make the Hawks play at 12:30 and have the Dream play later."

I took my daughter to a Valkyries playoff game and she schooled me on joy.
Walking down the aisle after halftime, she started giving out high-fives. To everyone. Some people leaned right in. Some hesitated. She didn't pull her hand back. She just stood there, hand up, waiting until they met her for a five. And every time, their faces lit up.
She wasn't choosing who got her joy. She just trusted that everyone would high-five her back.
Joy is unconditional.
Joy is infectious.
Joy is about seeing someone else.
I spend a lot of my time thinking about elaborate ways to create joy and connection, and my kid reminded me how simple it can be. I can’t chase joy, I must embody it.
I now cannot stop thinking about where in my life I can proactively and unconditionally give more high fives.
