Noticed some of the people who reposted this garbage were following me, so let me make this clear: if you like or repost shit like this, fuck all the way off. I don't even understand why you would follow me in the first place if you think this is in any way acceptable

Look at this moron. Not even a hint of irony.
If I had Elon Musk's money I'd buy the Daily Mail and shut it down.

Dave Bautista: "I couldn't afford to buy them Christmas presents." He was talking about his two little kids, years before he headlined WrestleMania. In the video below, he says what one Christmas did to him: "I was closing on 30 and I was still broke." So he went to one of the club promoters he worked for and asked to borrow money for his kids' presents. He says he was so embarrassed and so humiliated to have to do it. He was working club doors for $100 a night. He says he wasn't educated or skilled at anything. He was athletic and had "a decent look." So he paid $300, three nights at the door, for an open tryout at WCW's training school in Atlanta. He says that was a lot of money for him then. They told him to leave. In his words: "You're never going to make it." He was heartbroken for about a week. Then he kept going "out of spite." Near 30, a loan for Christmas presents. At 36, the main event of WrestleMania. On April 3, 2005, he beat Triple H at WrestleMania 21 and became world heavyweight champion. The money did not last. By the time Marvel cast him as Drax, he told IGN: "My house was foreclosed, I had nothing, man. I sold all my stuff." He says he also had issues with the IRS. Then Guardians of the Galaxy made $773 million worldwide. He hit bottom twice. He started over twice. Years later, the trainer who sent him home called it "the best thing that ever happened to him." Bautista says he has heard "you can't" so many times that it is now what pushes him.

Community notes have to be one of the worst things ever added to this site. Imagine linking a person's wiki page as a "credible" source and thinking you did anything to support your point. You can tell these people have never written an essay before

DL Hughley: “77M of those people who voted for Trump, for them racism isn’t a disqualifier. Pedophilia isn’t a disqualifier. Rape isn’t a disqualifier. Fraud isn’t a disqualifier. Even if they’re not all racists, all of them have this belief that things are better run if white people are in charge. If your moral code is that off, I have a certain disdain for you”

In our pop culture, Star Trek is probably the most influential document on the importance of scientific and technological progress, grounded in a humanism that recognizes the inherent worth of all beings. Patrick Stewart did as much as anyone else to bring that vision to life, and imbue it with the dramatic and moral seriousness it deserved. RIP.

I imagine @halcon_scificon this year will probably have a small shrine dedicated to Sir Patrick Stewart's memory, much the same as other conventions had them for Peter Cullen and Tim Curry. I also imagine Jonathan Frakes would appreciate it as well.

The amount of people who truly believe that viviepop endorsed and supported Scott's doxxing is concerning, it was the toxic fnaf fans who did that stop believing everything you see on the internet and do your own research first instead of quickly picking sides people!

Trumps inability to honour a trade deal that he himself signed and said was the best trade ever is not Carney’s fault.
Replying to @Jenniferl554563
Carney’s inability to negotiate is not Trump’s fault. In the meantime Canada will bow to the EU.

Two sides of my twitter right now: 1) People I admire who were also inspired by Patrick Stewart' Picard and who carry that into their lives and work. 2) Committed ghouls who somehow managed to watch Star Trek TNG without ever getting the actual point of it all.

Quick reminder: Gold melts at around 2000 degrees. Washington DC did not experience that kind of heat wave. So… whatever Trump approved for those statues was not gold. Another multimillion dollar grift/money laundering scheme while Americans suffer.
Trump's $5 million gold refurbishing is now melting off the horse statues in Washington, D.C.
