Every hymn held within these walls is a piece of our spirit, a truth we’ve carried. "Palace for the People" is out now. We hope it moves you.

On September 12, 2001, NATO invoked Article 5—the alliance’s collective defence clause—for the first and only time in its history, after the 9/11 attacks on the United States. The North Atlantic Council agreed that evening that the attacks would be treated as covered by Article 5 once determined to be directed from abroad; that confirmation followed in early October 2001.
Canada contributed significantly to the subsequent NATO-led mission in Afghanistan (2001–2014). The “Highway of Heroes” is the stretch of Highway 401 in eastern Ontario where convoys carried fallen Canadian soldiers’ remains from CFB Trenton to Toronto, with crowds often lining overpasses to pay tribute.
During the mission, 158 Canadian Armed Forces members died in service, with thousands more injured—part of Canada’s solidarity with the U.S. and NATO allies after 9/11. Other NATO allies also suffered heavy losses: the United Kingdom around 457 personnel, France 90, Germany 62, Italy 53, Denmark 43, and others. Overall coalition military deaths are commonly reported around 3,500–3,600 for the 2001–2014 NATO/ISAF period, with non‑U.S. NATO members accounting for roughly 1,100–1,200 fatalities.

25 years ago today Welles Crowther gave his life helping others on 9/11. This is the best story @espn has ever done. Share it with your kids and any others who may not have been alive on 9/11 and don’t know what true bravery in the face of evil is.

When Vancouver was awarded the Olympics in 2003, I was covering it in Prague. Lloyd Robertson saying my name and throwing it to me live was the coolest thing ever.
Just an absolute legend. And a wonderful, kind man off camera.
Much love to Lloyd's family and many friends.

A lot of disrespect for Indycar under this… Genuinely curious as to why? At least between drivers/teams there’s plenty of mutual respect between Indycar and F1. I just don’t understand where the fan feud comes from.
In easily the biggest news of an Indycar driver signing since Mansell left F1 for Newman Haas at the end of 92, maybe since Foyt decided to race for himself 60 years ago, McLaren has poached 6 time champion, Hall of Famer and candidate for Greatest of All Time Scott Dixon from Ganassi. 2026 Indy 500 winner Felix Rosenqvist will join him alongside Pato O Ward with the objective being to deliver the Indy 500 component of the Triple Crown for Zak Brown.
Both Dixon and Rosenqvist join on multi year deals.
Quite incredibly, the team’s driver of the season and leading points scorer this year has been told his services are no longer required, leaving Christian Lundgaard as the most unexpected and talented free agent imaginable.
The GOAT, leaving the team with whom he was synonymous and with whom he won 6 titles, to help rebuild a storied racing brand… feels strangely familiar.

NASCAR held an industry call Friday morning after Kyle Busch's passing to discuss the weekend at Charlotte. Mike Forde, on Hauler Talk, said Bubba Wallace chimed in with:
"He goes, 'Hey, OD, I think I have the perfect idea. To honor Kyle, I think what he would want is to raise the horsepower level this weekend by 100.'"

Considering Kyle won his last race in the Spire 7, the Spire/KBM connection, and the two being former teammates, I am very happy with Daniel Suárez winning this one.
What a very hard, emotional weekend of NASCAR racing. Congratulations Daniel and Spire on the win.
Excellent broadcast btw. 10/10 no complaints. #NASCARonPrime
