Two baby dotterel chicks have been spotted at Bethells Te Henga & the locals are pegging off an area again. Fingers crossed these ones survive. Dogs on leashes on the main beach are crucial - and leaving their food on the beach (kelp etc). Keep your distance. This is our chance
