Rare footage of Roberto Duran sparring.
Watch timing and defensive movements, you can see why Duran was different.

More sad news. RIP Jimmy Batten. I knew he hadn’t been well for a while but still terrible news, aged just 70. A GENUINE British boxing legend ❤️🥊

Teddy Baldock Statue Update:
Unfortunately no arrests have been made and the statue has not been recovered.
A meeting with Loss Adjusters tomorrow will determine whether the cost of a replacement will be covered by insurance.
The Foundry responsible for the Sir Henry Cooper Statue in South London have agreed to cast the replacement Statue. But since the moulds cannot be located this will now involve 3D scanning of a miniature which will be upscaled, 3D Printed and a mould produced for recasting in bronze.
The boxing boots from the original will be recycled.
Hopefully the Pride of Poplar will soon be back where he belongs.
Thank you all for your continued support.

Last night scum stole the statue of my Grandfather Teddy Baldock Britain's youngest ever World Boxing Champion. The statue was unveiled outside the Langdon Park DLR Station in Poplar, East London. Years of work and a stunning work of art by the sculptor, the late Carl Payne will be sold for scrap and melted down. Please retweet in case we can recover it.

🚨 CHRIS EUBANK JR. UNLEASHES RANT AT ROBERT SMITH AND BBBOFC
"This is the big boss behind the scenes. The man with all the power that controls everything that goes on in professional boxing inside the United Kingdom. This guy's a big deal, he really is. Now this idiot allowed a room full of media and cameraman into my private weigh in the day before the fight. The time that it took to get these people out contributed to me missing the weight and getting fined 500k. He let Conor Benn fight in gloves filled with horsehair knowing it was a direct breach of the contract I had for this fight. On fight night, he personally escorted an arch nemesis of mine, Billy Joe Saunders, to my changing room to disrupt and try and disrupt my preparations for the biggest fight of my life... It's viciously clear for me to see that this toad is nothing more than a puppet and a pawn. I think he is in the back pocket of Matchroom and Eddie Hearn. Unfortunately just another scumbag [in boxing]."
