This weekend is still in the “come and see” phase of this Awakening. We will soon move to the “go and tell” phase. Asbury Seminary is pledging to support students who will go out and share their testimonies around the country. This is already happening and the fruit is strong!

The Holy Spirit convicts and comforts. He will neither leave you unchanged nor feeling condemned.
What area of your life are you feeling the Holy Spirit convict you to change? Where do you need to be comforted instead of condemn?

Christ will hold me fast
When the tempter would prevail

I've been a pastor in a non-denominational mega church, an ancient-future liturgical church, and a post-christian missional church.
We had the same brick wall we slammed into in every place.
Consumerism.

HELP! @F3Metro Any of you weirdos own a metal detector? A good reliable one. Managed to lose my wedding band somewhere in my front yard or in one of thirty lawn bags.

God is no more present in a sanctuary than in your cubicle or your home. Maybe its just you are more present to Him in the sanctuary and need to work on it elsewhere.

Let's try this again...
What shame/guilt of the past are you dragging around? How can Jesus release of them?

A pastor’s prayer:
MY MASTER GOD,
I am desired to preach today, but go weak and needy to my task;
Yet I long that people might be edified with divine truth, that an honest testimony might be borne for thee; Give me assistance in preaching and prayer with heart uplifted for grace

Are you a competitive or contemplative pastor?
One meets with people with an agenda
The other practices a ministry of presence

At the 2017 USATF Outdoor Championships, Gabe Grunewald toed the line in what would be the final race of her career. In 100-degree heat, in between chemotherapy treatments, and having had a fever in the days prior Gabe showed what being #bravelikegabe was all about.
