IMO scouting will cycle back at some point to trying to figure out if a guy can play. Definitely a weird time right now. I do agree with you 100%...now it's simply information/data gathering.

Infielders...take ground balls on the stopwatch daily. Have someone time you...get in the habit of getting it to 1st in under 4.1 Great infielders have great internal clocks. The great ones always know how much time they have/who's running and rarely look rushed/hurried!

One of the things that makes the MLB draft so dadgum special...Scouts don't care if you play D1, D2, D3, NAIA, a juco in the middle of no-where or a HS in a town with 1 traffic light! If you're good enough, they will find you and you will get an opportunity. BE GOOD ENOUGH!

On average, HS athletes train 4 hrs a week on their sport. Over a yr, 52 weeks, that's 208 hrs of training per yr..
Imagine if U spent 2 hrs a day on your training. That's 728 hrs per yr!
YOUR advantage over your competition is now YEARS of training apart 💯
How hungry are U?

JUCO baseball is NOT an extension of High School Baseball ! Not even a little bit! JUCO is for above average athletes!

The great thing about having a vision whether its big or small is it doesn't matter what happened yesterday or the day before. Your future is bright and your plan to get there lies between your ears. Chase it, live it & give thanks to those who helped you along the way

Same thing here. Working everyday through the holidays. Take advantage of the down time away from school and distractions to lock in. About 2 months til first high school season opener.

I can tell you a lot about a player just by watching them stretch and play catch.

If u r grooving ur swing ok, but if ur cage work is easy, you're probably doing it wrong. If it is underhand front toss & you are just practicing bashing...go home. If it's machine work... you move around. Never let it be in the same spot twice. Solve problems, don't create them
