I'll tell you There were really strong winds and heavy rain like Rapture was happening that night. Some in church prayed more fervently as the rain poured. There were thunder claps, lightening strikes, big trees falling from the winds, roofsheets being displaced, chaos in nature really. Generally there was this great sense of moving into new life in a new era. No one alive will get to witness the onset of another Millenium

This is tyranny gone completely bonkers! Is @inecnigeria no longer answerable to Nigerians? Free the young man before you set the country on fire with arrant stupidity and unwarranted arrogance. #FreeRilwanNow
Our lawyers were just let into the DSS facility. The "offense" they claim Rilwan Olawale committed is sending a harmless WhatsApp reminder to the Lagos REC asking for an "E-Transmission Only" process. This is the absolute peak of paranoia! #FreeRichOne

EXIT OF A TITAN I am deeply saddened by the passing of Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the revered Afenifere leader and elder statesman, at the age of 100. Baba lived a life defined by courage, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to democracy, justice, and a better Nigeria. His passing is a great loss to his family, the Yoruba nation, and our country. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, the entire Afenifere family, and all those who mourn this great patriot. May God grant them the strength to bear this painful loss and grant Baba eternal rest. His legacy of principled leadership, selfless service, and steadfast commitment to democratic ideals will continue to inspire generations. -PO

These individuals, who are APC thugs, attacked Barr. Rollins Offia Nwali, the NDC candidate for Ezza South State Constituency, and his supporters as they were returning from a campaign. Security personnel attached to the candidate intervened, resulting in the death of two of the alleged thugs and injuries to ten others. The alleged attackers used cutlasses and other weapons in the assault before the security personnel stepped in.

So, #Nigeria's #IndexCase has been "exported" to Switzerland with her husband & the country currently has no reported case of #Ebola. Yet @NigeriaGov claims it has placed the people who came in contact with her on a handsome salary for doing so & has set aside N10bn for that purpose in a country where the @Fmohnigeria lives like an unfunded mandate. Can someone pls make this make sense?
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has confirmed that Nigeria currently has no Ebola cases following the medical evacuation of the country’s index patient and her husband to Switzerland.

If that guy was arrested because he tore an APC Poster, I think all wellmeaning Nigerians should go on a rampage and remove APC posters everywhere. The APC cannot destroy my life and force me to pretend like i love their faces on billboards in my neighborhood. Noooooooo

Prof, Sir. He wasn't exercising his civil rights when he was destroying the campaign posters of APC in Lagos. He posted a video of it himself. I believe his arrest and detention is related to the action.

Na wa Prado republic
The average cost of a brand-new 2026 Toyota Prado is ₦145,000,000. In this video, we counted seven such vehicles, and the number could be even higher. The total cost of these seven vehicles alone amounts to ₦1,015,000,000. While the rudderless, clueless, and ruinous administration of President Bola Tinubu has been asking Nigerians to endure the pains of its wicked and cruel reforms, this is how taxpayers’ money is being spent. The wasteful APC-led administration is funding the lavish lifestyles of politicians while ordinary Nigerians wallow in poverty. We cannot continue like this. We owe Nigerians and the unborn generation the civic duty to vote the ruinous administration of President Bola Tinubu out of power. Our presidential candidate is strongly committed to cutting the cost of governance. If you want a government that will judiciously manage the resources of our dear country, vote for His Excellency, Peter Obi, CON, for a new and working Nigeria for all, and not for a corrupt few.

TINUBU MUST EXPLAIN LUXURY SUV GIFTS TO APC YOUTHS WHILE NIGERIANS GO HUNGRY β€” ATIKU. Former Vice President and African Democratic Congress presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has accused President Bola Tinubu of presiding over a grotesque spectacle of executive excess: the reported distribution of 2026 model luxury SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, to APC youth leaders while millions of Nigerians are crushed by hunger and soaring costs. Atiku said it was a brazen insult to ask Nigerians to endure hardship while party loyalists receive vehicles worth a fortune. He demanded an immediate public explanation from President Tinubu and the Presidency: who is paying for these SUVs, and why is such lavish political spending taking place while ordinary families struggle to afford food and transport? In a statement issued by Phrank Shaibu, Director of Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Atiku said: "The APC National Youth Leader says these vehicles were donated by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu. Nigerians deserve to know where the money came from to buy and distribute so many 2026 model SUVs, each worth more than ₦150 million, for political mobilisation. "The First Lady holds no elected or executive office. She is only a domestic appendage of the office of President. Were these vehicles bought with her personal funds, donations or public resources? Who paid for them? What was the total cost? The Presidency must provide a clear account. Nigerians cannot be expected to accept a fleet of extraordinarily expensive vehicles for party loyalists without knowing who financed them. "At a time families cannot afford food, transport and other basic necessities, these gifts are a brazen insult to the people. The government has found a way to provide luxury SUVs for APC youth leaders, yet millions of Nigerians are still waiting for meaningful relief from the cost of living crisis. This is not merely a question of misplaced priorities. It is one of the most outlandish displays of executive recklessness in our history. "First, APC women leaders reportedly received luxury vehicles. Now, according to the National Youth Leader, APC youth leaders are receiving SUVs from the First Lady. The earlier gifts came on the eve of the abduction of schoolchildren in Oyo State. Now another lavish round of political giving is taking place while Nigerians face hunger, insecurity and hardship. "While Nigerians continue to ask where the savings from subsidy removal have gone, the Presidency must explain how such costly gifts are being funded. If the vehicles were paid for privately, the source of the funds should be disclosed. If public resources were used, the government must identify who authorised the spending and under what legal authority. "The scale of these gifts raises grave questions about whether our collective patrimony is being diverted to buy political loyalty. Nigeria cannot be run as a captured state, where wealth and influence serve the powerful while ordinary citizens are left to struggle. "The same youth leader who made the gifts public is reportedly travelling by private jet. That image of extraordinary privilege stands in jarring contrast to the hardship facing ordinary Nigerians. The Presidency must stop treating questions about wealth and spending as an inconvenience. Nigerians have a right to ask where the money came from. "Nor is this culture of privilege confined to party officials; it reaches the very household of the President. His own son, Mr Seyi Tinubu, has been pictured, in widely circulated images, wearing a Richard Mille RM 67-02 SΓ©bastien Ogier, a timepiece that sells for close to half a million dollars ($500k), while the same government asks ordinary Nigerians to endure hardship, tighten their belts and wait patiently for relief that never seems to arrive.

This harassment and intimidation of supporters of HE Mr Peter Obi MUST stop!
CIVILITY IS NOT WEAKNESS. ENOUGH OF THE HARASSMENT OF MY SUPPORTERS. RELEASE RILWAN OLAWALE NOW. The continued intimidation and harassment of my supporters across the country, the latest being the case of Rilwan Olawale, is disturbing and unacceptable. President Bola Tinubu has remained a huge beneficiary of our democracy and should not brazenly be destroying it by encouraging and facilitating violence. Our campaign is peaceful and issue-driven, focused on offering Nigerians a credible alternative built on competence, accountability, justice, and compassion. We have chosen the path of peace, not violence; persuasion, not intimidation. However, nobody should mistake our civility for weakness, our restraint for fear, or our commitment to peace for an absence of resolve. We will not be intimidated into silence, nor will we abandon Nigerians who believe in a New Nigeria that is possible and will be OK. I therefore demand transparency regarding Rilwan Olawale’s arrest, his release, respect for his rights, and an end to politically motivated harassment. No government or political party has the right to deny Nigerians the freedom to support a candidate of their choice. We will remain peaceful but resolute. We will not resort to violence, but we will stand firmly and lawfully against every attempt to undermine our democratic rights. A New Nigeria is POssible and will be OK. -PO
