Direct Amidation of Esters by Ball Milling (Browne) @WillNicholson18 @JamieLeitch165 @DuncanLBrowne @Syngenta @ChemistryCU @School_Pharmacy onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…
I'm so excited that we managed to get this work in to @angew_chem. It was a challenging project that represented a large portion of my PhD work. It really would have not of been possible without the assistance of some excellent collaborators which I am extremely grateful for.
We are delighted to share that the groups work on the reactivity of Mn metal enabled by ball milling has now been published in @angew_chem.
Please take a look and see how the use of #mechanochemistry was essential to unlock this reactivity.

Really pleased that my final first name paper from my PhD work is now online @ChemRxiv investigating the reactivity of manganese metal enabled by ball milling. bit.ly/3yaAyw6
This project would have never have been finished without some excellent collaborations from @EmRichards_EPR, @GMagri_EPR, @alexseastram, and @MorrillGroup.

Carbon-Sulfur cross coupling from thiols or disulfides by ball-milling. No need for inert atmosphere or (dry) solvent!
First time for me being first author published in #OL @JOC_OL with @WillNicholson18 @HarrySmallman3 and @DuncanLBrowne
PhD life can have its perks. Hopefully my first international conference will be a success. #mechchem #realtimechem @ Rüdesheim am Rhein instagram.com/p/BqFo6uPhBm3S…
