Chinaβs first AI-generated theatrical feature has flopped, earning just $181,000 in its first weekend.
By contrast, the scrappy βNiu Laiβ turned its crude animation into a viral attraction, grossing nearly $10 million a couple of months ago.

I've seen people say that Gen AI is a tool. NO. Things like Photoshop, Blender, etc etc are tools used by artists. With Gen AI, the AI is the "artist". You're just the plebe commissioning the piece. I can't imagine anyone being proud of something they came up with using Gen AI.
