Why are taxpayers paying to fly Kid Rock around on $100 million helicopters?
Scoop: Kid Rock flew to Fort Belvoir this morning on his private jet and took a little joy ride on 2 Apache helicopters with War Secretary Pete Hegseth, according to multiple Army sources, and backed up by flight data.
Apaches typically have 2 pilots, but they went up with one so the boys could each ride shotgun, I'm told.
Apache helicopters are not stationed at Ft. Belvoir so unclear where they came from. A spokesperson at the base referred questions to the secretary's office.

If you thought the economy was bad with Trump’s war driving prices at the pump up … just wait until international travel is halted at some of the busiest airports in the world.
Talk about a stupid idea (no wonder it’s being considered by the Trump Admin).
NEW: In interview w/ colleague @BretBaier, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin floats the idea of stripping CBP/customs officers from airports in large sanctuary cities as retaliation for refusing to cooperate with the federal government. International travelers wouldn’t be able to fly into airports and leave without going through customs.
Mullin points out that Democrats are also refusing to fund CBP.
“It’s something we’re looking at,” Mullin said.

As the reporter notes, this is all Medicare billing — what he doesn’t say (on purpose??) is that it is a program run by a FEDERAL agency.
FACT: The state has no role in the Medicare billing or payment process.
We are glad the Trump Admin is taking action to combat fraud. Now, if Trump could stop pardoning fraudsters—and hold them accountable—that would be great!
