Every other religion says you're saved through knowledge. You tell people what they should do, and they do it. Only Christianity is realistic enough about human nature to say that that will never happen.

Nothing worse than watching someone do what you could do if you were disciplined.

We can hold space for the sovereignty of God when we understand the character of God. He never stops being good in order to be sovereign; He’s both at the same time.

We must couple God’s sovereignty along with His goodness. Know that His ability to do what He wants, how He wants, and when He wants never conflicts with His desire to do good in a good way at the best time.

We must keep in mind that it’s the Holy Spirit who gave us the Scriptures, it’s the Holy Spirit who enables us to understand the Scriptures, and it’s the Holy Spirit who directs us and enables us to apply the Scriptures to our daily lives.

I’ve turned my book “He Saw That It Was Good” into 7 sessions of lectures that are now available on the @MyBLVDco site. Myblvd.co/city-syllabus

I really hate that EVERY thing leads to something with politics. Literally just saw an ad about a clothing company partnering with WWE legend The Undertaker. Someone comments “Wack. Too bad he went full right wing” 🙄

Before I start this next thread, I’ll just put it out here. I’m back to watching some of wrestling. At the very least, my wife and I are huge fans of the Bloodline arc. 🧵

After #JeyUso beats #SoloSikoa, one of two things should happen. Either we get a concerned #PaulHeyman doing his “Call Roman Reigns” bit or a shot of Roman at home watching this with a concerned look.

That’s how you let us know #JeyUso has a chance of winning and also being able to BE #TribalChief and champion, whether that’s the plan or not. #WWE
