This is exactly what I mean by normies hate VTubers and why people shouldn't care about the Streamer Awards.
Here you have Camila making a polite plea to Peanut to step down as a nominee (which would never happen) and you have all these folk crawling out of the woodwork to trash on her for it.
The people behind the Streamer Awards don't give a damn about VTubers.
And that's fine. We shouldn't want them to anyway. Let them do their own thing and VTubers can keep doing their own thing.
peanut, i am saying this with all the love.
you’re already a huge creator, and i’m sure your fans would gladly vote for you in another category where you’d be just as deserving.
with that being said, i think it’d be really nice if you would ever consider stepping down from this category, or at least choosing not to participate in it next year.
you’ve made it clear on multiple occasions that you don’t consider yourself a vtuber, and you’ve often spoken down about our community.
it feels discouraging and disrespectful to the creators who genuinely identify as vtubers and take pride in being part of this community. it’s just not fair to those who work so hard to represent the community that you’ve repeatedly expressed you don’t want to be associated with.

VTUBERS AND CREATORS who got over a plateau what do you think helped the most?
Or like what helped the most with converting other platforms over to twitch?
I’ve felt kinda stuck for the past four months, with numbers trending downward, so I’d love to hear your experiences!!!
Anything that helped you or advice is greatly appreciated :)!!
