Until the #FlatEarth community can explain these observations away, #FlatEarthIsDead. Even then, they'll still have mountains to climb, but if explaining even simple observations like this are too much for them to handle...oh well.

Random thought I had: If Mary Peltola wins the upcoming election by getting over 50% of the votes in the first round, before the instant runoffs that ranked-choice voting uses even have a chance to br a factor...then Trump's BS lawsuit falls flat on its face. Just saying...

Last night a 3-car pileup occurred in southern Anchorage. Wouldn't have caught my attention (drivers here are the worst) except the middle car was occupied by Mary Peltola. Now I can't help but wonder if this was an accident or an attempt on her life. anchoragepolice.com/news/tra…

Looking at Trump's joke of a lawsuit here, I just realized: the way ranked-choice voting works, the only way this has merits is if Dan J wins. If he gets eliminated, any votes for him that ranked Dan S 2nd will go to Dan S in the runoffs. This really IS a non-issue.

I can’t even believe the lunacy of this. What a joke of a doj.

One reason (among so, so many) I see this bit of lawfare failing: we have ranked-choice voting in Alaska. Even if someone accidentally ranksa Dan J 1st and Dan S 2nd, once Dan J comes up last and is eliminated, their vote in the instant run-off will be counted for Dan S.
The Trump administration has preemptively filed a lawsuit seeking to block certification of Alaska's US Senate election if the Republican incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan loses in the state which could decide the balance of power in the Senate. cnn.it/4i52DPm

A demonstration of how much of a non-issue noncitizen voting is: apnews.com/article/californi… DoJ says it's charged 113 people for voting fraud this year. Let's put that in perspective: Rhode Island District 1 is the smallest voting district, with 545,085 residents. 1/

IF all 113 of these alleged fradulent voters were guilty AND lived in that district to maximize their impact AND all voted the same way? 113/545085 = 0.021% They wouldn't affect the outcome whatsoever. Best case scenario for the argument completely fails. It's a non-issiue.

Today, the right is responding with even more anger at Abdul El-Sayed, because this wasn't supposed to happen. They expected Abdul to dance around the question while Tommy repeated it and was eventually kicked out. Instead, Abdul disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood and turned the question around on Tommy showing him he was guilty of the very thing he tried to accuse El-Sayed of. Now the right is pissed even more, because instead of exposing Abdul El-Sayed, they were exposed.
This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

Just FYI @JDVance: Trump and the GOP have had full control for 2 years now. If you're saying anything happening 2 years after Biden left office is his fault, you're basically saying that your whole damn party is too incompetent to fix anything. Still want to play the Biden card?
JD VANCE: The biggest reason why gas prices are so high is because when Joe Biden ... TONY DOKOUPIL: It's almost been two years. At a certain point it becomes your economy, not Joe Biden's economy

Astronomers say they've discovered the first star that would appear green to human eyes. The presence of calcium, sodium, and lithium in the star's composition is the source of its unusual color, astrophysicist Mark Hollands says. (cnn.com/2026/10/16/science/g…)

Flat-earther asks for globe proof. Gets given one. Claims FE can explain it. Gets prompted to do so. Gives a non-answer. Gets called out on it. Goes further off track in a failed effort to distract from his failure. Good to see he sticks to the FE SOP.

My condolences to whoever was taking the minutes there, but GOD that was hilarious!
One of the greatest moments in Capitol history. When Laura Loomer attempted to disrupt a hearing, Missouri Rep. Bill Long, who is a real auctioneer, began calling a fake auction to drown her out until she was escorted her out. He then yields to laughter.
