As the next chair of the Social Security Subcommittee, a top priority will be to expand Social Security benefits by at least $2,400 a year & extend Social Security’s solvency for generations.
How? By scrapping the cap & demanding that the wealthy pay their fair share of taxes.
So I see election euphoria has dissipated and the left is back to the dopamine of factional savaging. I guess if you're good at something, just keep it up.

The blue tsunami was driven by seismic changes in American politics. The topography is different. A party with an outdated map might get lost.

I went by the Fritz’s memorial when I was walking around Charleston election day morning
And as SC folks know, he didn’t want this tribute - he pushed for the fed courthouse on Meeting St to instead honor Judge Waties Waring (a judicial hero of the Civil Rights movement who dissented on Briggs and, like John Minor Wisdom, should be better known by history)
Which is why the power structure in Congress has to change. You don't go to war with the generals who lost the last one.
