I will never forget the day Comrade @MathiasMpuuga rolled up to the prison gates like a head of state — full convoy, sirens, security detail, etcetera. The man looked like he was coming to free a political prisoner or at least deliver a care package. Instead, he walked in with two empty hands and a big stomach.
How do you visit a man behind bars and not even bring bananas? Not even one. Not even the small, slightly bruised ones from the roadside. When he finally left, my stomach started protesting so loudly I nearly got charged with disturbing the peace of @jbyabs.
One day, the revenge will be sweet… and properly catered. But for now — Happy Birthday, honourable. May your days be long, and your prison visits never again be this nutritionally disappointing.
