Chinese brands drop Mbappé over Mao meme Two Chinese brands have canceled advertising contracts with Mbappé after he said his favorite meme shows him as “Chinese dictator” Mao Zedong. Dongpeng and Mengniu ended their partnerships with the footballer, accusing him of insulting Chinese national feelings.

Forcing your children to watch Hasan Piker should be considered child abuse at worst and indoctrination at best. Why are so many Leftists okay with this s**t?
Thank you to everyone who has supported and donated to this campaign. Because of you, our message is reaching more people, more voters, and more families across Los Angeles.

I don't agree with Brazilian President Lula (@LulaOficial) on many, many issues. But one of the most important factors to maintain a healthy free democracy is to admit that sometimes, your side doesn't win. It saddens me to see so many on the Right-Wing simply refuse the results of a democratic process and resort to baseless conspiracies to try and delegitimize the will of the Brazilian people. Lula won just like every President that came before, and the next civil step to take as the opposition is a message of congratulations, and a promise to work with the cards that are dealt and move forward. That is how free democracy thrives. Don't let political polarization get the best of us! As for my comment for President Lula? Parabéns pela sua reeleição, Sr. Presidente! Desejo-lhe muita sorte! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
🇧🇷 Brazilian President Lula wins re-election in a landslide. 🔵 His opponent, Flavio Bolsonaro, was supported by Trump and Netanyahu. 🔵UPDATE: Flavio Bolsonaro is contesting the results of the Brazilian presidential election.

News Report: Oh Se-hoon, the 33rd, 34th, 38th to 40th Mayor of Seoul, has been acquitted on appeal in the Political Funds Act case in connection to the Myeong Tae-kyun Gate, overturning the first-instance verdict. Mayor Oh, who has been indicted on charges of having third parties pay for opinion polls conducted by the political broker Myeong Tae-kyun, was acquitted on October 23rd by an appellate court. This officially overturns the first-instance verdict that had handed him a sentence stripping him of his mayoral office. The Criminal Division 7 of the Seoul High Court held an appellate sentencing hearing on Mayor Oh's violation of the Political Funds Act. Kang Cheol-won, former Vice Mayor for Political Affairs of Seoul, and businessman Kim Han-jeong, who were indicted alongside him, were also found not guilty. chosun.com/national/court_la… m.yonhapnewstv.co.kr/news/AK… Personal Two-Cents: ALL HAIL THE KING OF SEOUL 🇰🇷👑 Oh Se-hoon has my full endorsement to be the next President of the Republic of Korea! Lee Jae-myung's diplomacy is so bad it's actually making people (who aren't far right) go back and appreciate Yoon Suk-yeol LMAOOO. In all fairness though, Yoon's diplomatic strategy wasn't that bad. He was very aware of what South Korea's role should be in the New Cold War, and acted accordingly. God I wish we were living in a timeline where the stupid martial law decree never happened.
President Yoon knew exactly which countries are South Korea’s allies and which are its enemies. He is sorely missed today

I consider myself Pro-Palestine and stand firmly against the Gaza Genocide. But some bad faith actors trying to sneakily play both sides on the October 7th Massacre just does not sit right with me. The October 7th Massacre was carried out by Hamas. Hamas broke through the Israel-Gaza borders, gleefully murdered men, women, children, and elderly alike, and bragged about it with posts on social media. Now, were there also a small number of Israeli civillians who were killed via friendly fire or even the IDF's Hannibal Directive? Yes. But still, most of the deaths were very clearly to blame on Hamas. And I find it to be in bad faith to upload content especially on the anniversary of the October 7th Massacre that tries to muddy the waters on who the main perpetrators were or worse, try to make it seem like an inside job. Of course, they'd never say that upfront, but you can tell by how it's framed and when they are posted. Not really integrous journalism. #Israel #Palestine #GazaGenocide #Hamas #IsraelHamasWar #October7th
It would be nice if Western media gave a damn about the Israelis killed *by Israel* on October 7th. They may not - but we here at Zeteo do. Watch @mehdirhasan take you through that day, explaining the secretive 'Hannibal Directive' and how it was deployed by the Israeli military

I think it's safe to say now that Lee Jae-myung is, by far, the WORST President South Korea has ever seen when it comes to diplomacy. He's picking random fights with ally states in the middle of the New Cold War so he can keep up a tough guy image to his supporters (which is just so obviously performative when you know he grovels to North Korea and China). Is there anyone in the Blue House or within the Democratic Party willing to call him out on this? Or are we just being ruled by sycophants? #SouthKorea #Ukraine #우크라이나 #Russia #러시아 #Diplomacy #UkraineWar #이재명 #청와대

There's nothing more despicable for me than Gyopos who larp as Koreans and try to gain popularity by spreading smears about South Korea (a country they probably have never been to or speak the language of) to appear enlightened for the Western audience. Fuck them all.
This incident happened in the US, with 6 of the Cornell 7 being non-Koreans, but idiots and self hating weirdos have to shoehorn “Korea bad” into this as if Korea is the main problem here. Also I wonder how many of the people commenting “South Korea is a safe haven for SA criminals” come from countries that are far worse at prosecuting rapists than the ROK

The "Joe Rogan of the Left" they say? I don't remember Joe Rogan advocating for or trying to trivialize rape. But he's Pro-Palestine so that makes it all okay, right? right?!?!
Anyway, here are Hasan Piker’s comments about why it’s preferable for wealthy women to be raped in college.

<The Assassin(s)> (암살자(들)) is a political historical drama that's currently at the top spot of the South Korean box office. I have also watched this movie in theatres over Chuseok break. However, for those unaware, this movie is currently under major controversy for how it lays out real life historical incidents. So basically the plot of the movie follows a police officer and two journalists who happen to be witnesses of the infamous 1974 failed assassination attempt of President Park Chung-hee which ended up with the homicide of First Lady Yuk Young-soo, and decide to investigate to find out who the real hidden mastermind behind the incident is, which the movie strongly suggests is none other than President Park Chung-hee himself and the KCIA. Basically, the movie is leaning deep into the famous (but disproven) conspiracy that President Park Chung-hee staged the assassination attempt on himself in order to turn the public's attention away from the unpopularity and brutality of the Yushin regime and restore ROK-Japan relations that were put on ice after the kidnapping of Kim Dae-jung. Currently, the movie has received fierce criticism from members of the right-wing People Power Party, who've called it "monstrous political propaganda" and "delusional conspiracy". The President Park Chung-hee Memorial Foundation (박정희대통령기념재단) has even released a condemning statement calling for the film to be immedietly pulled from theatres. On the other hand, Director Hur Jin-ho also released a comment of clarification claiming the movie is not meant to be a reflection of reality and does not conclude that the assassination was indeed an inside job, but rather is meant to be a cinematic fictional retelling of a real life event using records of different perspectives. Choi Min-hee, a politician of the left-wing Democratic Party of Korea, posted a statement defending the film, claiming whatever the movie shows is protected under the freedom of artistic expression. As of current, the opinions of this movie's portrayal of the incident is only becoming more divided. Now, what do I think about this controversy? Honestly, as a Cultural Libertarian, I do agree with the DPK in that I believe that this movie does have a right to exist under freedom of artistic expression. However, I am also a firm believer of moral consistency. Which is something the DPK severely lacks, ESPECIALLY when it comes to artistic expression. For example, what if someone were to make a movie that "suggested" the Gwangju Democratic Uprising was actually a riot manipulated by North Korea? What if someone were to make a movie that "suggested" President Roh Moo-hyun was killed by Moon Jae-in? Would the DPK hold the same position they hold for this film? The answer is no. In fact, the DPK passed a bill that makes it ILLEGAL to claim North Korea was involved in Gwangju in any media. So clearly they don't actually care about the "freedom of artistic expression". For me, the controversy of <The Assassin(s)> is simply another reminder of a fatal hypocritical flaw within Korean society and its discourse. Where do we draw the line at what is and isn't allowed to be expressed? As long as the people now are in charge, we'll never know. #암살자들 #TheAssassins #Movie #Film #News #박정희 #육영수 #SouthKorea #Korea

The Korean Ministry of National Defense just stated they WON'T investigate the 25th Infantry Division LandMine Explosion Incident until the end of Chuseok Break. Unbelievable. So then who's gonna take responsibility if any evidence of the source of the landmines gets vanadalized or disaappears during that period of time? Trying to take a break from all the news especially political buzz to focus more on my real life but what the actual f**k is this? What the f**k is wrong with these people? What the f**k is wrong with this government? chosun.com/politics/diplomac…

"Anti-Imperialists" when you ask them about China's colonization of Tibet:
Hasan Piker endorses the Chinese invasion and occupation of Tibet. The occupation "abolished the serfdom and the slavery conditions that existed in Tibet," and that "that was objectively a good thing." Suddenly, Hasan Piker does not support the right to resist occupation.

Y'know, if I was living in a country that I genuinely believed was WORSE than Al-Qaeda, the first thing I would do is pack my bags and leave forever. If you really think the US is worse than Al-Qaeda, why do you live there? Why live off the spoils of and pay taxes to a country worse than Al-Qaeda? Wouldn't that make you complicit and even supportive of said country worse than Al-Qaeda? This isn't "right-wing political correctness", this is just the scummiest virtue-signaling ever. Anyone who actually believes this should and would leave and never come back. But no. They continue to live and reap off the country WORSE than Al-Qaeda. How strange.
This is one of those things that’s obviously actually true but you’re not allowed to say because of right-wing political correctness.

According to commies like Hasan, Putin's "biggest failure" is that he validated the existence of NATO. Not the numerous war crimes in Ukraine or the brutal totalitarian oppression of the Russian people, but proving NATO correct. But sure, these people definetly just want what's best for the people of America! 🙄🙄🙄
"Of course I am Anti-NATO. NATO is designed with the explicit intent of being an Anti-Communist institution... Now it operates like a protection racket. Putin's biggest failure... is he gave the protection racket a perfect opportunity to say why it exists" -- Hasan Piker
