Keep in mind that this is what @amazon allows to be shown to young children on their streaming platform @Twitch on a daily basis. Multiple members of Hasan’s community have been linked to and arrested for terrorist threats like Jarrett Maki from Michigan who appeared on Hasan’s stream with him which also so happens to be from the same state @AbdulElSayed (who refuses to denounce Hasan Piker) is running for senate in.
I’m highlighting this before the Republicans do. Hasans fans have been radicalized to support terrorism because of Hasan. It’s not a good look for ANY Democrat to be seen with someone who is acting as a direct pipeline to radicalization to terrorist actions.
The “America deserved 9/11” comment was only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the crazy things linked to Hasan Piker. He’s interviewed a literal Houthi pirate and has glorified on stream Hothi “rebels” Hijacking cargo ships and taking hostages.
And shame on journalists like @mehdirhasan who interviewed Piker and ran cover for his past statements and actions without holding him responsible for any of his extreme and violent rhetoric that will be used against Democrats in the up coming midterms.

It's a good thing that they demonetize people on this platform who praise Hitler and Nazism but why do people who praise Mao/Stalin/Lenin and Communism are allowed to do so with impunity?
At the very least, grifters like Hasan Piker and his ilk should not be financially incentivized to brainwash barely educated and highly impressionable young adults on this platform with propaganda praising the totalitarian genocidal ideology of Communism and glorify the one of the worst murderers in history,

I understand criticizing your own country when it deserves it. That’s healthy.
What I don’t understand is pretending that because your country has problems, a regime with the more and worse problems multiplied a hundredfold suddenly becomes morally superior.
Communists routinely hold free societies to impossible standards while applying none at all to authoritarian regimes.
It exposes something important. They know the difference between good and evil, but they just keep desperately searching for excuses to side with the worse one.

The common belief on Western internet is that the South Korean economy is a Chaebol-led technocracy but in reality it's much closer to a government-led bureaucracy, just ask the investment bankers, their primary reason of being reluctant to invest in the Korean market is the severe government control
Historicallty Korean society was ruled by a strong central government and the growth of Chaebols were only possible because of economic intervention by dictators. Mega corporations that went against the government were quickly dismantled (Kukje Group was the 5th biggest conglomerate in 1985 but was forcibly dissolved within a week)
The government still asserts massive influence over the economy and the Chaebols. Samsung's Lee Jae-yong served prison time for his involvement in the Park Geun-hye scandal and cases of suicide of Chaebol owners caused by targetted government crackdowns exist

South Korea is an industrial powerhouse. Second only to China in most ways. In an age where we worry about China's rise, SK is one of the most important allies we can have, and one we should grow closer to.
South Korea uses more industrial robots per worker than any other country—
This chart shows one way to compare automated manufacturing across countries — it plots the number of robots per 1,000 manufacturing employees.
The chart shows very large differences between countries. South Korea stands out, with more than one robot for every ten manufacturing workers.
Singapore comes second, and China ranks third, close to Germany. The United States sits in the middle, close to the European average, below Switzerland, Denmark and Slovenia.
This perspective shows industrial robot adoption in relative terms. In another Data Insight, I looked at robot adoption in absolute terms. From that perspective, China stands out by a large margin: it’s a large economy with a huge manufacturing sector, and it has by far the largest stock of industrial robots.
Much of this expansion has happened recently: China’s annual installations increased 12-fold over a decade, helping it catch up to South Korea in terms of robots per worker.
