Six of us went to lunch at a local restaurant, it was NOT busy. Our server never smiled. Some other staff brought our food out, and did the auction thing: who had X, who had Y. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I don't like dining out. Bad service but they expect a good tip!?!

Today is Wonderful Husband's 87th BIRTHDAY and for the second year in a row, he's been in a doctor's office. Last year for our friend Ray and this year for me. Today I had an echocardiogram and since my DBS was skewing the EKG, the tech just did it without. #Parkinsons

Why DBS?
I was a week away from DBS surgery. To most, it seems like an extreme measure; a last resort, but it actually is a quality of life decision.
I wrote this FOURTEEN YEARS AGO and I don't regret having DBS for #Parkinsons

Not all sleep talking is a warning sign.
But recurrent shouting, cursing, or physically acting out dreams during sleep can be a sign of REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD).
RBD can precede Parkinson’s disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, or MSA by years. Recognizing it matters.
