$ASTS The non-US grant Special temporary authority (STA) for a period of 60 days to use 25 authorized satellites to (1) operate in frequency bands below 1 GHz for the purpose of communications with devices on the terrestrial wireless networks of AST’s mobile network operator partners outside the United States, and (2) operate in the 37.5-42 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 47.2- 50.2 GHz and 50.4-51.4 GHz (Earth-to-space) bands with an authorized gateway earth station. Previous Grant(s): Authority to deploy and operate 5 low-Earth orbit NGSO space stations. Authority to deploy 20 additional low-Earth orbit NGSO space stations and to perform telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) operations using those satellites. Non-geostationary orbit (NGSO). 5 satellites operating in 1 plane at an apogee of 525 km (± 25 km) and perigee of 515 km (± 25 km) and inclination of 53.0 degrees (± 1 degrees). Mean anomalies of 216 degrees, 126 degrees, 40 degrees, 32 degrees, and 306 degrees. Operations down to an altitude as low as 425 km. 2 satellites deployed to an altitude of 520-530 km and operating at an apogee of 515 km (± 1 km) and perigee of 520 km (± 1 km) with an inclination of 53 degrees (± 1 degrees). 18 satellites deployed to an altitude of 530 km and operating at an apogee of 685 km (± 1 km) and perigee of 690 km (± 1 km) with an inclination of 53 degrees (± 1 degrees). Vodafone Group CEO Margherita Della Valle and members of the Vodafone team joined us in Midland for a tour and discussion on accelerating satellite mobile broadband deployment across Europe. 🚀🌍 @Vodafone has been a co-pioneer in this space since 2018. Together, we made the world’s first space-based video call using standard smartphones. Now, with our SatCo joint venture, we are preparing to bring seamless direct-to-cell satellite connectivity to areas of little or no mobile coverage in Europe. This will advance national and European-wide digital sovereignty and deliver ubiquitous broadband coverage for consumers, businesses, and governments 📶📱 #ASTSpaceMobile #Vodafone #DirecttoCell #Broadband

$RKLB: Needham initiated coverage of Rocket Lab with a Buy rating and $28 price target. The firm says Rocket Lab is a "disruptive company in the fast-evolving space sector." The company's "deep" vertical integration is a differentiator and puts it in a "prime position" to challenge market leader SpaceX, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Needham believes Rocket Lab's Space Systems business, which supplies turn-key satellite buses and subsystems, is benefiting from "strong" growth in government and commercial LEO constellation launches.

JUST IN: Citi lowered its Price Target on $RKLB from $35 to $33 but keeps a Buy rating 🟢 The firm notes that it hasn't come across a space program without delays, and $RKLB's Neutron is no exception, with its first launch now slated for the second half of 2025. This represents a roughly 12-month push from the original target, and the analyst tells investors in a research note that further delays wouldn’t be surprising as more testing is conducted. Citi expects the shares to sell off following the news but sees any weakness as an "enhanced buying opportunity," as it anticipates Neutron will eventually reach the market and "garner its fair share."
