Jamaal Lascelles contract has ticked down to its last six months, with the deal set to expire on June 30 but Eddie wants him to stay and talks are happening:
"Jamaal has done really, really well this season. I think his game has come on in lots of different ways. Defensively and aerially he has always been very strong, you saw that against Fulham recently. I think his defensive understanding has been very good from what we want from day one.
His use of the ball has improved and he looks really comfortable in the team at the moment and he's playing some good football. I'm not sure where his contract talks are, but he is part of our long-term future for sure."

Injury update from Eddie Howe:
🤕 Elliot Anderson will miss 2 months action with a stress fracture in his back. GUTTED for the lad as he's being doing so well.
🤕 Jacob Murphy has dislocated his shoulder and will most likely need an operation to sort it, meaning he will miss months, he is seeing a specialist today.
🤕 Alex Isak has a reoccurrence of a groin injury he originally got with Sweden and is getting a scan today, but it's not thought to be anything serious.
🤕 Sven Botman still hasn't trained with the main squad yet, but he is improving, is out on the grass and should be back shortly!
🤕 Lewis Miley will be back soon but not in time for this weekend.
😢 This is on top of Harvey Barnes who we await further news on!
