If the Broncos cut Darby, Glasgow, Edmonds, Martin, Albert O, OJ, Cush, and McManus, and restructure Sutton, Patrick, DJ, and Bolles, they could cut Russell Wilson this offseason (as a post-June 1st designation) and still have more than $70M in available cap space It's possible

Much better day from Nix and the offense in general. 3 plays of 40+ somehow, but most of all especially in the second half they were able to sustain drives. Run game looked better outside of the Nix run and they were able to consistently grind out early down yardage (Coleman is as good as I thought and needs starter carries)

Jonah Coleman is the best back on the roster. Someone tell Sean.

Want to get this take out now before Bo’s trademark end-of-season hot streak that memory wipes everyone: You CANNOT give Nix a big money extension until he demonstrates an ability to play at least decently through the first third of the season
Bo Nix through the first 7 games in his career 2026 5-2, 59%, 1,271 yards, 7 TDs, 3 INTs 2025 5-2, 62%, 1,556 yards, 11 TDs, 4 INTs 2024 4-3, 61%, 1,246 yards, 5 TDs, 5 INTs

“But he wins” Yeah, narrowly. Now imagine he’s got $200m supporting him instead of $250m. 20% less talent by financial investment. Not like there’s a ton of great rookie contracts rn either. Those ugly early-szn wins flip to losses if Bo gets paid and doesn’t play better

And again, the options aren’t just “cut him/be done with him” or “lock yourself into a $60m+/yr contract that could go the way of Tu’a/Russ” There’s a third, more rationale middle ground called “evaluating the 4th season” that’s the most likely outcome and prob. the smartest one

I will say, I don’t think it’s sheer coincidence the Broncos had their best rushing day the same week they add a major upgrade to their RB room back from injury Meanwhile, no real changes on the OL…

Nik Bonitto generated a career-high 13 pressures in Week 7 against the Cardinals, the most pressures by any player since Nick Bosa in Week 6, 2024 (14). Bonitto recorded 12 of his pressures across 27 matchups against Cardinals LT Jayden Williams. #DENvsAZ | #BroncosCountry

Hate the passing call on 3rd and 20 there. Just run the ball and leave Arizona with ≈3:15 to score two TDs when they’ve scored one over the past 116 minutes of game time

That sequence (McBride catch reversed, no flags on Allen QB hit or Moss’s contact downfield, and then a punt block) is such a big swing in the Broncos’ favor Crazy all those moments came in a row

Add Bo scrambling for a first (demonstrating the TD run isn’t just a fluke. He’s running again) and then the Harvey 52-yd TD and WOW

Alright, if Bo Nix was ever going to snap out of this funk, you’d think a 62-yd rushing TD would be the type of moment to flip that switch
