Kirin Tor: Warcraft 3 Custom Race/Faction Altered Melee Showcase youtu.be/Xkd1GXa5s4s This is a look at the Kirin Tor faction of the Wars Legacy mod for Warcraft 3 Reforged, in this Altered Melee mod/map series, the units of this faction are heavily reliant on magic and most units have a mana bar. Some buildings can also summon elementals in emergencies. Some units have the “Mage of the Council" ability that can channel mana into buildings to slow enemy healing and speed and recharge the ability to summon elementals. Also there’s a lot of book icons with this faction. They are from a magic kingdom called Dalaran which is a sovereign nation-state ruled by the wizard Khadgar who looks older than he is. Units include: Guild Hall trains Spellsword who can have runed armor that blocks negative spells every 90 seconds, Scribe who can summon a floating spellbook that deals magic damage, and Skyseer who can reveal enemy areas and turn your forces invisible. School of Magics trains the spellcasters: Arcanist who specializes in dealing with summoned units and combating spellcasters, Apprentice who can heal and increase maximum mana for friendly units, and Invoker, a siege mage. Assembly allows you to construct Collector which is a worker unit that gathers gold and wood faster than the Craftsman (the basic worker unit) and is immune to certain spells, Arcane Carrier which replenishes nearby units mana and specializes in anti-air and Curator which is a mechanical melee warrior construct. The Academy trains the elite units: Magician who is a flying anti-ground mage that can silence enemy spell-casters, Violet Spellwing who is a anti-air flying creature, and Master Scholar who can transmute an enemy into a magic vial, summon elementals, deal damage to multiple enemies, and teleport to friendly structures. Heroes summoned by the Altar of Wizardry are: Headmaster, a support hero who must be the head of a magical academy like Dumbledore or something), High Wizard,  ranged assault hero who sounds like a Stoner Sorcerer, like from that Harry Pothead and the Stoned Sorcerer book I heard of), Transmuter who is a cunning hero who manipulates Time and Space like Enron does to it’s stock price), and finally Librarian who has anti-magic abilities and can cause an arcane explosion that deals damage to foes whenever a friend or foe casts a spell on the Librarian.
