Everyday is Zeroday
BREAKING: Binance has been hacked with wallets across the Ethereum, Bitcoin, and TRON networks seeing outflows of -$5.7 billion.
The hack includes $1.45 billion worth of Bitcoin and $875 million worth of ETH.
If confirmed, this would mark the biggest hack in crypto history.
We expect more information shortly.
this would be the largest crypto hack in history by at least a multiple if confirmed
actually might be the largest cyberattack in general for all internet regardless of crypto
one silver lining is that binance is rich enough to make everyone whole
lmao
it took Zcash devs less than 24h to design against the recent fearmongering
in fact, Zcash will be resistant (on transparent side) by January
$10,000
Here's our plan for quantum-safe, unlinkable, rotating taddrs. Possible with Zcash, today.
While others are worrying about the viability of rotating transparent addresses, we're already solving linkability.

Stop whatever you’re doing.
I don’t care that it’s a Friday in the middle of summer.
If you work in crypto, take two minutes to submit a letter urging the Senate to bring the Clarity Act to the floor for a vote.
This is one of the easiest ways to make your voice heard.

The United States and our partners in the Shield of the Americas stand with Bolivia's legitimately elected democratic government of President @Rodrigo_PazP. Attempts to reverse the will of voters through blockades of vital supplies to the Bolivian people, and criminal financing should be rejected and those responsible held accountable.
📣 Launching today: the onchain data stack for audit, tax, and financial reconciliation. 🧮
✅ Token Transfers — normalized across @ethereum EVM, @Solana, @StellarOrg, @Ripple, @Aptos, @SuiNetwork, and @tempo. Every row traceable to source tx. One schema, every chain.
✅ Decoded Logs (EVM) — every contract event decoded and standardized. The evidence layer.
✅ Labels — add-on. Known addresses resolved to named entities.
Help your accounting team out with the best production-grade onchain data.
Following the KelpDAO hack, we built an open analysis of DVN security configurations across every active OApp on LayerZero over the last 90 days.
Of ~2,665 unique OApp contracts: 47% run a 1-of-1 DVN security floor, 45% run 2-of-2, and ~5% run 3-of-3 or higher.
As we know, KelpDAO's rsETH sat in the first bucket.
Open query, public methodology, feedback welcome:

If you are in crypto, get all of the devices in your org on EDR. This is literally the one weird trick North Korea doesn't want you to do.
It's table stakes security, but vast majority of teams still don't do this.
Yeah you can do all sorts of fancy clean room offline transaction reconstruction shit, but it's extremely complex, and the vast majority of startups will never do anything remotely like this, so it's pointless to talk about it.
Much simpler: clean dedicated signing devices with EDR installed. If you don't know what it is, look it up. If that was an industry standard, DPRK's job would be 100x harder.
See @_SEAL_Org for more recs on opsec and multisig security. God bless the white hats 🫡
I am nearly certain that even mid tier EDR would’ve caught this tbh. We will have to wait for forensics but I have no reason to think otherwise.
It’s worth unpacking what EDR is though bc I think you are confused. EDR focuses on runtime, not checking X against Y. It doesn’t matter if every single repo and hash is unknown or if you choose to run something.
It’s still going to light up like a fucking Christmas tree. Bc the shit that you’re doing when you run that repo looks like this:
> VS Code launched node.js, which spawned bash, which ran curl, to download a binary, which then opened a connection to a C2 server, and created a new hidden file in an hidden directory, which sets persistence, and then began poking every browser credential and crypto wallets and keychain data, all while sending encrypted payloads to this unknown raw IP it’s never seen before every 60 secs on repeat forever, all in the same 5 minute span under the same process.
Yes, every single one of those things is going to be detected and flagged. Especially persistence. Especially shit suddenly poking every place secrets are stored. Especially the calls to a random ass IP.
If you insist on setting up your airgapped device, you can absolutely do so. Be my guest.
But when you end up turning the internet on bc you can fucking sign the txn then you best make damn fucking sure the first thing you do is EDR that bitch up.

I literally have 0 coding experience and had never worked with Dune dashboards before.
It always annoyed me having to rely on other people’s dashboards and never finding the exact data I was looking for, so I figured I’d try building one myself with AI.
With Claude’s help, it took me less than 1.5 hours, and most of that was just understanding how Dune works. The next one would probably take under an hour.
I remember some of our portfolio companies paying thousands of $$ for these and waiting weeks for them to go live.
Even though this trend has been obvious for a while, this really made it click for me just how much AI is eroding the moat and defensibility of developers, and how easy it is now for a complete beginner like me.
Devs are cooked.
