Exactly this.
Digital ID will NOT be used to tackle illegal immigration and the things you don’t like. It will be used to tackle you. 🫵

The nudge towards Digital ID: They will sell it to everyone as “for your own good” or “for your safety” or “for your convenience”. But actually it’s a scam for them to seize more control, data harvest and transfer huge amounts of wealth. teapawt.net/JamesMelville/status/1…

Universal Digital ID cards: ‘The BritCard’ could be Keir Starmer's poll tax. No one voted for this.

Another Blair project revived courtesy of Labour Together (headed by the loathsome Ashworth). It’s this in Starmer’s Labour’s hands that is worrying me more than Farage’s.

If Palantir & Peter Thiel are involved in handling more of my personal data/information, then it’s a massive NO from me

Choosing a font is about the limit of Blair's tech skills from what I hear; and it's his dream they're selling again here.

We lost £37 Billion to track and trace, where did all that money go? I don't want Digital ID or CBDC. I want autonomy not dictatorship.

I expect this needs to be countered sooner rather than later with cross-party, transnational and transregional support. Otherwise we are the slope to authoritarianism and I'm pretty sure Blair & Starmer will be only too glad about it.

Digital id will not stop the small boats. I still remember the £10 billion wasted on a bio-metric identity card under the last Labour Government.

I’m surprised it’s not called BlairCard.

I despise Palantir and all its shady surveillance behaviour. I hope @UKLabour do not continue to engage with this awful company. In particular, I don’t want them having access to my sensitive NHS records @wesstreeting. I value my privacy, Palantir does not.

Palantir - the company which has helped the IDF develop AI powered killing systems to decide which Palestinians live or die. Yes. I’d absolutely trust them not to misuse my data! 🤦‍♂️ business-humanrights.org/tr/…

The truth about Keir Starmer is ugly. But he’s been protected for too long. It’s way past time to expose who this dangerous, amoral individual really is. Before it’s too late.👇

Digital ID can help us to combat illegal migration. A well-designed digital identity system also empowers citizens, giving them secure convenient access to services like healthcare. Digital ID is about letting people control their own data, while delivering faster, fairer, and more personalised services in the digital age. Read TBI’s work on Digital ID here: bit.ly/4jlgP5b

In China, your facial recognition is your digital ID Facial recognition required for applying phone number, bank accounts, digital wallet...everything. Once you are blacklisted by Social Credit System or flagged as enemy of the State, you can't buy anything with digital wallet
It's happening in China now. Once you are blacklisted by social credit system, you can no longer use China's CBDC digital wallet-Alipay or Wechat pay. Which means you can't order food, book hotel room, buy train/plane tickets...etc online.

That's the thing about Starmer. He'll happily post details of his visit to a biscuit factory in Scunthorpe but details of his meetings with Alex Karp (Palantir) and Larry Fink (Blackrock) are witheld from the public We wouldn't like what he's promising to give away

BritCard - brought to you by Palantir. All part of a repression ready, gift-wrapped surveillance state for Farage to pick up and run with. Remember kids - authoritarianism is OK when it has a friendly font 👌🏾

HMRC admitted 100,000 digital identities had been compromised, and used to extort £47m from taxpayers. Where better to go to steal or manufacture identities than an insecure digital login? One Login is the weakest link. telegraph.co.uk/business/202…
