Hooping and playing basketball are two completely different things. It pains me to watch people confuse the two.
Hooping showcases what you can do. Playing basketball requires understanding what the game needs from you.

Caiden Hudson brings length, above average athletic ability and the game comes natural to him on the offensive end of the floor. He is strong finishing at the rim in both the transition game and in the half court on drop off passes.

🏆 The Standard of Excellence: 11 and Counting
Let’s talk about a dynasty. 🏀
When you mention Wheeler High School, you aren’t just talking about a local powerhouse; you’re talking about one of the most elite programs in the entire country. We just witnessed history on March 14th as the Wildcats secured their 11th State Championship—the most by any school in Georgia since the 1940s.
But the real story is the man leading the charge: Coach Larry Thompson.
By the Numbers:
11 Total Championships for the program.
5 Titles in just 9 Years under Coach Thompson.
21-0 Record against Georgia competition this season.
As I discuss in the clip, Coach Thompson didn't just inherit a legacy—he’s building a skyscraper of his own. From producing NBA stars like Isaiah Collier and Jaylen Brown to fostering a "Stay Humble, Stay Hungry" culture, the Wildcat Way is about more than just trophies; it’s about a daily commitment to being the best.
"These guys play a state championship game every day in practice." — Coach Thompson
Is there any doubt that Wheeler is the premier program in the nation right now? Let’s get into it. 👇

GHSA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
AAAAAA
Final:
@WheelerHoops - 62
Pebblebrook - 52
Wheeler edges out a very hard fought victory to become the 2026 GHSA 6A State Champions. It was a back and forth game for most of the game with both teams going in mini runs.
@UConnMBB-commit Colben Landrew was the best player on the floor, notching 29pts and earning MVP honors for his performance. He scored at will in the paint, showed off his range and was the emotional leader tonight for the Wildcats.
Unsigned 2026 Lamarrion Lewis played a crucial role in the victory, going 3-3 from behind the arc and finishing with 11p in the game.
@ClemsonMBB-commit Amare James added 11p scoring timely baskets when the Wildcats needed them most.
