Amazing to see that they fully implemented charging stations at home. All we keep doing in Kenya is send recommendations that POIs could sustain charging stations. But ooh well, what a shitty government we have been dealt with.

Rwanda banned the importation of ICE motorcycle. And introduced tax free importation of EVs and now the car ahead of you is most likely a BYD! What a dream!

Rwanda and Ethiopia implementing the energy initiatives we keep recommending to our government is amazing to see. In a couple of years, Kenya will be playing catch up to every EA country.

Actually, different salaries should only affect how luxurious your life is, not your food quality or ability to afford rent. If you work 40 hours at any job, your income should be enough to live in the town you work in. Thinking otherwise is an abysmal indicator of your humanity

Yes - and people will comment from different spaces, including their lived-experience, which can also be that they were harmed. So for me - we must start from a place of intellectual honesty, not tagging a privileged group as victims - and then becoming curious about the systems
