Patrick was like air to me, I’ve needed him every day of my life. Losing him has broken my heart. I’ll love him fiercely, until we meet again. 🍀💚 @ Ship Bottom, New Jersey instagram.com/p/CJKeRVHjYmx/… – at Ship Bottom, NJ

Univ. of Minnesota’s, Cade Tyson (averaged 19.6ppg last year), remains ineligible while the Gophers’ next two opponents, St. Thomas’ Kendall Blue and Cincinnati’s MJ Collins (17ppg at Utah St last year), are cleared to play against his team. All 3 started playing college in 2022.

The “check swing, go the 1st or 3rd base umpire” to see if the batter went or not is such a ridiculous way to determine a call. One of the most bogus things we’ve accepted in sports

One of my favorite ever memories with my brother was sitting together in Notre Dame Stadium for this! Can practically hear him cheering while watching this ☘️💚
Trailing by 4 with a minute to go, Brady Quinn takes Notre Dame 80 yards on 3 plays where he hit Jeff Samardzija for a game winning touchdown! An incredible drive by Quinn and the Irish.

The Giants leaving the last two games on the table will likely end up biting them, come end of the season. Should be 3 games up. With win in hand on both DAL and WAS 🤦🏼‍♂️
Back-to-back weeks of no NFC East wins

No dog in the fight, but PI doesn’t get any clearer than what the BYU defensive back did on the final play of that game to Notre Dame’s Jaden Greathouse. That’s a flag. If you don’t have the temerity to throw that flag there in Provo, Utah in that moment then you shouldn’t be on the field as an official.

As some have noted, there was indeed :01 on the bug clock when the pass hit the ground (BYU/ND). Replay should have reviewed to determine if the in-stadium clock was at :01 at that point and if so, ND would have had one more play.

That’s an egregiously blown call on last play of ND-BYU. That’s interference for 59:56 of the game, it should be last :04

According to FPI, Notre Dame's current SOS ranks 60th. That's ahead of the following Power 4 programs: Miami SMU Nebraska Oklahoma St Syracuse Texas Tech Boston College Washington Minnesota Arizona Georgia Tech Cal West Virginia Cincinnati BYU Baylor Pitt Kansas State Virginia Virginia Tech Utah Duke Their schedules aren't embarrassments, however.
ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit calls Notre Dame’s schedule an “embarrassment”

Alabama and Georgia both play 11 game FBS schedules. I can’t believe this guy is accepted as the unofficial authority figure on CFB🤦🏼‍♂️
"Notre Dame plays two games where they're going to be challenged…think about what Alabama and Georgia and Ohio State and these teams with what they're dealing with. That cannot continue. That's an embarrassment and incredibly unfair." – Kirk Herbstreit

Can’t imagine watching the MLB postseason this year and thinking they need a salary cap.

So umpires are getting scrutinized and lambasted for missing pitches an 1/8” of an inch to an inch off the plate that really isn’t the plate as MLB only counts the back half of home plate. Imagine being told you are wrong by a computer that the pitch you called a strike because it caught the front half of the plate is actually a ball. Then getting crap from all the younger, nerdy generation because it’s so EZ to tell if a pitch is a strike at 100 mph or a ball from your fucking couch. Get a grip people. They won’t call the real zone because hitters would struggle more than they do now. Imagine that.
