Hey, I'd like to clarify some misinformation here. The action taken on this account was not because some players have discovered a new Sailing XP method. Our investigation identified a number of accounts involved in behaviour using 3rd party automated software to click similar spots across multiple accounts simultaneously. Multi boxing is permitted, but there is simply no way a human can click on 8 accounts in the same spot on multiple windows in one second without use of some kind of automated software, which is what we’ve seen in this case. We've seen a lot of discussion around the gameplay itself as well. Separately, that's something the team has been reviewing to ensure it aligns with overall balancing. We have changes planned to address it in tomorrow's game update, which we'll chat about in our Game Update post. Given there's been a lot of potential conclusions shared in this thread, we felt it's important to make sure we let you know what happened here. We understand there's a real concern around emergent gameplay and what is or isn't acceptable. In this particular case, it was a very clear use of automated tools to abuse the method, and that's why action was taken. The ban is accurate and correct, and will not be reversed.
