NFTs were supposed to be yours. So why does everyone get to see everything about them? 👀 Your NFT. Your traits. Your rarity. Your metadata. Your secrets. All sitting there for the entire internet to inspect. Fungo Labs is trying something different. They’re building what they describe as the first encrypted NFTs on Ethereum, using Zama’s FHE infrastructure. Instead of minting an NFT completely exposed and trying to add privacy later… Fungo wants the NFT to be born sealed. The interesting part is that this isn’t just “hide the JPEG.” The underlying idea is: Non-fungible. Non-visible. Still onchain. FHE allows information to remain encrypted while computation can still happen on it. That opens a completely different design space for NFTs: → hidden traits → encrypted rarity → secret mechanics → private ownership experiences → reveals that actually mean something → onchain assets that don't have to expose everything And honestly… NFT privacy is one of those areas Web3 barely explored. Fungo is attacking exactly that. Everyone is watching Papertrade. I’m watching the layer forming around it. 👀 @paperdao_xyz is one of the more interesting setups I’ve seen lately. Very simple: Papertrade launches with $0 LP + $0 initial PAPER supply. PAPER isn’t something you simply buy off the market. It gets minted from realized losses/liquidations. And the earlier the LP is, the more aggressive the initial emission curve is. That creates a very specific game: The problem? Most people can’t efficiently do that alone. That’s where PaperDAO comes in. Instead of 100 wallets trying to play the same game individually, PaperDAO pools capital into one community treasury and aims to hit Papertrade from the first block with a range of strategies. One treasury. One strategy layer. One $PULP claim on what the treasury accumulates. If the strategy works, the treasury can hold: → $PAPER → staking yield → trading PnL And $PULP holders own their proportional share. What makes this especially interesting to me is the asymmetry of the launch mechanics. Papertrade starts from zero. There is no pre-minted PAPER sitting around waiting to be dumped. No seed LP. And PaperDAO is basically saying: why fight for the first block alone when we can pool size and fight it together?
