These people think you’re all stupid. But we all know the following is verifiably true:
On February 28, the US launched a war against Iran on behalf of Israel, despite the foreknowledge that Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz and despite US intel showing Iran was as not building nukes.
Disruptions in the Strait and destruction of oil/gas infrastructure has led to a global energy shortage.
Then, as expected, the war spread between Saudi and the Houthis. That led to more disruptions in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Since 1/3 of the world’s fertilizer travels through Hormuz, we’re seeing the beginning phases of global food crisis. In fact, JP Morgan put out analysis predicting a full blown global food crisis in Q1 2027.
But hey, at least Israel got its war. I guess it’s “antisemitic” to state the obvious.
So, don’t insult our intelligence while we’re all paying out the ass for everything,
On top of that, WE are forced to bankroll Israel’s wars and give them yearly aid to boot. We’re sick of it. The sense of entitlement is disgusting.
Some serious economic misinformation to go with the antisemitism in this ad that blames Israel for the rising price of American eggs, bananas, healthcare
- it falsely links American families’ grocery bills and healthcare costs to U.S. aid to Israel.
- Aid to Israel is approximately 0.05% of federal spending
- Most American military assistance to Israel goes to buy goods and services from U.S. defense contractors.
- U.S. assistance is overwhelmingly military, not a direct subsidy for Israeli healthcare
- most American bananas come from Guatemala, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Honduras and prices are rising because of El Niño.
At least it only takes them an hour to count the fake votes. California would take months to fraud this…
BREAKING: In an unprecedented comeback, Brazil's President Lula da Silva has defeated Flavio Bolsonaro, securing a 4th term in office.
Lula is officially the first presidential candidate in Brazil's modern democratic history to lose the first round of voting and go on to win the runoff.
Prior to the election, Lula's implied odds of victory had fallen as low as 10%.
This marks one of the most remarkable political comebacks in Brazil's history.

By now it should be clear to our decision makers: we will not be able to end this war until we meaningfully restrain Israel. The Israelis have thwarted—& will continue to thwart—any deal we attempt to reach with Tehran.
Israel drove us into this war because we let them. The fundamental issue is this administration’s inability to stop our junior partner from acting like our senior partner.
It’s long past time for our leaders to do just that—lead by restraining the Israelis & end this war now.
Netanyahu on Iran:
Mojtaba decided to follow in his father's footsteps. He pulled the trigger, and Iran is once again trying to develop its bombs of death.
Therefore, there is only one way to remove this threat once and for all: to overthrow the regime in Iran.
And that is my directive to the IDF, Mossad and the security services.

What is so sad about the French riots is how today’s dire situation was so very predictable (and predicted). Attached is a piece I wrote a couple of years ago, during the Paris Olympics:

Those trade schools ($LINC and $UTI) have really hurt. However, I have added real size the whole way down, and they’re now one of our largest exposures. This was offset by solid performance in refiners ($MPC and $VLO) which I have now harvested. The rest of the book was mostly a wash…

Paul Tudor Jones on @CNBC says the two-tiered market is exactly like the 1999-2000 market. Maybe but the main thing i recall from the internet bubble was the wild trading in many smaller stocks. I don't recall the big-cap dominance at all. We had Yahoo, Cisco, and JDSU, but there was tons of speculative garbage, and we don't seem to have that now. My memory is clouded because I wasn't very experienced back then but the AI bubble seems very different.

Borrowing costs are up 20%, deficit exploding, Oil shock doesn't show YET in "core" inflation, which excludes food & energy; consumers squeezed at the grocery store & the winter is coming. Plus unlike 1973 globalization=energy dependence.

Another day, another Econ 101 lesson for Professor Warren.
Her “Trumpflation” tracker conveniently ignores the Bidenflation tidal wave that crushed American families, cherry-picks wage growth by refusing to acknowledge positive real wage gains since President Trump came into office, and swaps official medical-care CPI data for premium projections when it suits her narrative.
The Harvard Square inflationista is offering a statistical sleight of hand, not a serious assessment of today’s U.S. economy.
Here is the full picture, including an apples-to-apples comparison of President Trump’s real economic results measured against the failed policies Senator Warren championed under Biden.
