Many arguments by Lefties amount to this ...
"Of course I oppose {X}! But even more, I oppose any feasible, meaningful way to expose, prevent, solve or address {X} in any way."
{X} = Welfare fraud, voter fraud, illegal immigration, energy independence, etc.
So here's where we are with the Left's response to @nickshirleyy's expose of the daycare fraud operations in Minneapolis. Note that the Left in this case includes the majority of the nation's legacy news outlets - the vast majority of whom have one-party newsrooms.
10. New journalism standards: Apparently, @nickshirleyy was supposed to have done what @deenafaywinter of the Star Tribune did. He was supposed to call the daycares, arranged an appointment, given them questions about fraud in advance, not spoken to anyone else, and reported what they told him verbatim and vouched for it as true. Apparently, this is how the government agency with oversight always did.
For all the hemming and hawing and claims to be opposed to fraud, one thing the Left has clearly shown is that they are very unhappy about @nickshirleyy shining a spotlight on this fraud and many people seeing it.
Wonder what other tactic they'll employ next?
