🟡⚫️ STATE MAN has officially been retired, with Willie Mullins giving a statement to @SportingLife.
"He was a wonderful horse to train. He won 14 races, 12 of them Grade Ones and was a fantastic servant to Closutton.
"Unfortunately we haven’t been able to bring him back into training following the injury he sustained but he’ll head away now for what will hopefully be a long and happy retirement."
Seriously what manager worth their salt accepts that shitshow of a job
Cut her to odds on because she’s alive and well 🤦🏻♂️😂

A much better second half, though it couldn't get any worse
Preston reminded me of us when we got relegated to league one. Tried to keep it tight but as soon as that first went in it was floodgates. As bad a side as I’ve seen us play at home for a long time #bcfc

Spotted Keano in Cork Airport, ranted at me for calling him Mr Keane out loud cos ‘don’t you think I’m trying to be discreet wearing the fucking cap’ then ended up being 2 rows in front of me on the flight.
If you’re gonna meet Keane, you want the full experience 🤷♂️😂

A lovely tribute from Willie Mullins to 22-time Grade One scorer Hurricane Fly following his sad passing this week
RIP Hurricane Fly. One of the horses that kicked off my love for racing, and I imagine many others around my age can probably say the same thing.
Little horse, big heart. A proper racehorse 💙💚

We're sad to learn of the loss of the brilliant Champion hurdler Hurricane Fly.
