Our youngest vomited in our bed at 3:30am. My wife and I calmly got up. I cleaned our child while my wife changed the bedding. Our child vomited again but we caught it in a mixing bowl.
We laughed a little together and remarked how there is no one else in the world with whom weโd rather clean up puke at 3:30am. An incredible team.

Nobody is saying rape canโt happen during a robbery. The issue is that someone tells you theyโve been robbed, and your first question is whether they were raped instead of first asking if theyโre safe, hurt or okay.
The problem isnโt asking about rape. Itโs jumping straight to sexual trauma before showing basic concern for the personโs immediate wellbeing. Good intentions donโt automatically make your approach sensitive.
