Here he is at a Preston hustings in June 2024, refusing, when asked, to condemn the Hamas atrocities of 7 October 2023. It's a "no". "People have the right to resist", he says, shamelessly and tellingly invoking anti-Nazi resistance. 2/3

Perhaps Preston Council could tell us what it makes of one of its own councillors, Michael Lavalette, saying Palestinian "resistance" is nothing less than "heroic" in November 2023. "Whatever forms of resistance they choose, that's up to them, it's not really up to me." 1/3

It is "normalised". This is from last Monday. "Resistance is justified!" "Smash the Zionist settler state!" "River to the sea!" Roads blocked.
This happens all the time, all over the UK. And what does Labour say about the hatred movement? "We hear you, you were right."
Jewish life is British life, and we must never allow antisemitic hatred to become normalised in our society.
At yesterday’s antisemitism conference with @antisempolicy my message was clear: tackling antisemitism is a responsibility for all of us, and Jewish communities will not be left to carry that burden alone.

Most importantly, and perhaps most frighteningly, Warsi is a member and public advocate of the Muslim Council of Britain.
If rumours are true, the organisation will soon be allowed to engage with the Government again.
We are heading for very troubling times.
Listen again to Warsi, just last month, shutting down any criticism of Islam.
Sayeeda Warsi is frontrunner, I hear, for the government's controversial "anti-Muslim hostility" czar, to be announced this week. As I explain, she'd store up huge trouble for ministers. And few nominal Tories are more despised by actual Tories than Warsi. spectator.com/article/sayeed…

🚨 TODAY: Settler-terrorists attacked Andrey, Jasper and me. This video shows the assault.
Andrey was severely beaten and lost consciousness several times in front of police. Despite this, he was denied hospital treatment. He was put in an ambulance—but instead of being taken to hospital, he was taken to a police station.
He is still there, arrested and being denied medical care.
Jasper and I were also beaten. Jasper was then pepper-sprayed and arrested.

Have you noticed that more than 90% of the reports of "settler violence" come from two specific Palestinian villages?
Taybeh and Turmus’ayya.
Why? Because that’s where all the foreign activists are.
Why are they there?
Because Taybeh is a Christian village, and Turmus’ayya is full of Palestinians with American citizenship.
That’s it, it’s just to make provocations to trigger the Christian world and the American public.

“Would you like some therapy?”
That was the alleged response from a BBC manager to a Jewish employee after a colleague called Israeli forces “baby-killers” during a conversation about Sir Nicholas Winton, who saved hundreds of Jewish refugee children from Czechoslovakia.
Another ex-employee said their concerns about the BBC’s coverage of Israel were met with “aggression” from a manager.
This comes in the aftermath of a reported £400,000 payout from the Corporation to Jewish documentary-maker Lucie Kon, who spoke about inflammatory comments made by colleagues, including “if you want to call Hamas terrorists then you have to call Israel terrorists, too”.
There is a deep rot at the BBC. It’s clear the Corporation is in need of fundamental reform.

From the man who brought you “For every offence there is a defence” comes the premeditated strike in self-defence. Other than the fact that just means a planned assault, and would be illegal.
A preemptive strike in the belief that you are about to be assaulted is allowed.
Is this clown @Akhmedyakoob1 an actual lawyer? Wouldn’t trust him to water my cactus.

Nice to see that France’s justice system looks to defend Jews from abuse. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case in the United Kingdom. Tell me @metpoliceuk did Alana Heaney have her collar tugged for this horrific abuse? We know courts in the UK have stood up against such abuse in the past. What about now?
Suspended sentence for Irish man who threatened to shoot Jewish woman in France
Patrick O’Brien, 60, from Ireland, has been issued a six-month suspended prison sentence in France after admitting to attempting to “justify crimes against humanity” and making death threats “aggravated by their antisemitic nature”.
The charges related to an incident which took place in August of this year in Avignon, France, footage of which showed an Australian Jewish couple accusing the Irish man of threatening to “put a bullet in” the head of the Jewish woman and saying “I’m sorry Hitler didn’t finish the job.”
Mr O’Brien appeared at Avignon Criminal Court, where he was found guilty and issued the sentence. He was also told to pay €500 to each of the Australians, and a further €300 to several Jewish humanitarian groups.

Here's a video from Israel's first election campaign in 1949 as a reminder that:
1. It's the 10th oldest continuous democracy with full universal suffrage from its first day, including Arab citizens it just fought in war.
2. There have been no military coups, civil wars, emergency governments, suspensions of political or civil liberties, or canceling of elections, surviving even the assassination of a prime minister.
3. It's the only independent democratic state created after WWII to never fall, even temporarily, into some kind of authoritarianism.
4. When you were referring to people living in Palestine pre-1948 you were referring to Jews who were working to reconstitute their state from 2,000 years prior, and succeeded. Big time.

Ameer mocks the "Canaanite" restaurant that opened 2 months ago on Thalathini Street, Gaza City. They spent a fortune on inscriptions in the Paleo-Hebrew script to make it look authentic but Gazans have no idea what it is and call it "The Chinese Restaurant"! 😂
TikTok timestamps: 1 day ago (Oct '26) + 29 Aug '26
[Explanation: Palestinians make a big show of being descendants of the Canaanites, but unlike Jews, have no cultural connection to the ancient script used by the Canaanites and Ancient Israelites, or any knowledge of it]

How to be both antisemitic and also not ask the basic question of why all those Jewish ppl sought sanctuary in Israel. The nations they called home for millennia expelled or drove them out. Proving exactly why Jewish ppl need a State for protection.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has installed a number of small green monuments in Oxford Street to raise awareness of dwarfism.
This is a much more sensitive approach than the Welsh effort of lighting up a towering great castle.
UK Parliament has mentioned Gaza more than the NHS or immigration.
In the Commons, Gaza racked up 9,228 mentions in roughly the first 10 months after the 2024 election — more than immigration/asylum (~5,700) or the NHS (~5,300).
A year on, it is still regularly debated: ceasefire, aid, arms, RAF flights, inquiries.
This is a conflict 2,000 miles away with no British troops on the ground, no UK territory at stake, and no direct threat to Britain.
Domestic problems — waiting lists, housing, borders — keep getting ignored.
