Absolutely horrific for Canada to sign a trade deal and launched a defense MOU with the UAE, let alone doing so on the one year anniversary of the UAE-funded RSF militia’s massacres in El Fasher, North Darfur. This is how genocides are legitimized and perpetrators are rewarded.
Today, we launched a more ambitious partnership between Canada and the UAE.
A new free trade agreement that will unlock new access for Canadian businesses. A new energy partnership that will lead to greater investment in renewables. A new agreement on defence cooperation that will make Canadians safer.
