This !!! That’s why I’ve stopped worrying.
When it all works out, you'll be so pissed with yourself that you worried so much.

this will sound mean but PLEASE get over things faster. You don’t want to waste your good years being angry, bitter, and sad.

my marriage made me sit down with my “male ego” and i realized it was just an empty narrative that i was indoctrinated into. there’s nothing about me that makes me superior or better than my wife. zero

When we have headaches, we sometimes say it feels like the world is on our head. It doesn’t actually mean the world is on our head; it’s just a way of describing how we feel. The lady said when she was pregnant, it felt like a death sentence. The key word in both statements is “feel”. She was simply expressing how difficult the experience was for her, almost as though she was going to die, not saying that pregnancy itself is a death sentence. You have all deliberately chosen to look past the word “feel” and run with your own interpretation. It’s honestly unfair how women are treated on this app, as if you don’t have women in your own families. Women should be allowed to express how they feel without being attacked or having their words twisted. Good riddance.
You people can talk your own, but pregnancy felt like a death sentence for me, there were days i thought i wasn’t going to survive it. I went days without eating (I love food). It felt like a death sentence! That is my own experience and it’s my reality.

You are weird 😕
There is this guy in my church who came to me to ask for my number about two weeks ago because he needed me to get something done for him. I punched my number onto his phone and I asked him to call or text me so I can be able to get his number too. By the time I got home, I saw a WhatsApp message from a 234 number, and he said that was his number. I just ignored him. I didn't even reply and I'd never save that number into my contact list. Dude has been in the UK for four years now and he is still giving his Nigerian number to people in the UK with him. Or is it because I'm a Nigerian like him that he was texting me with his 234 WhatsApp number? I know he would not do that if it was a Brit that he had exchanged a contact with. Except for my very close friends and family members, I don't entertain any 234 messages on my 447 line. Let 234 messages be directed to my 234 number, biko.

£200-£500 PP depending on what the night out is.
Nigerians in the UK, that’s your average spending money budget for a night out?

I would forever be grateful for my family. It’s only on social media I see things and hear stories like this. You people are really trying; it would be so exhausting to be in a family where there’s always chaos when a member dies.

There’s everything wrong with burying someone inside a compound where people live.
There’s nothing wrong with coming out every morning to see your husband’s grave sha. It should be comforting actually.

I hate low quality people sm😭
I do this whenever I travel by air. I’ll familiarise myself with whoever I’m sitting next to, collect their number, and ask if someone is picking them up or if they’re ordering a ride. Once I hear “I’m ordering a ride,” congratulations, you’ve just become my airport taxi. 😂 I’ll discreetly use my phone to snap the car plate number and send it, alongside the person’s details, to my DSS friend in case anything happens. Once you drop me, na block straight 🫣😂 Abeg, those airport taxi fares are not beans jare😂

Thank God for family ❤️ because I honestly wouldn’t even have been able to survive if I had to pay my fees myself 😩. Got my fees paid in full from Nigeria, got to the UK and my accommodation was sorted for months. Honestly didn’t even start supporting myself until I got a job 1 year after I landed UK.
