A lot of the anti-AI creatives have this delusion that AI can't create new things. Like, literally cannot make new things in the same way that google images doesn't create new images - it just serves existing ones to you.
I think this is what drives much of their hatred.
Thing is, it can and does create new things. It was trained on existing stuff (without permission, which IS bad ofc) and uses that training to make new stuff based on the stuff it was trained on. It's nearly identical to how humans learn to create things.
Hating the frontier labs makes sense, hating the technology itself doesn't. The companies are massive pieces of shit, the AI itself is just a tool.
tbh, if you hate the AI companies you should be pro-AI, so long as it's a local model, or open source. Advancing those models actively harms the frontier labs.

🚨 Pentagon Just Admitted Bitcoin is a U.S. Military Power-Projection Weapon Against China
In a House Armed Services Committee hearing, Rep. Lance Gooden pressed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on whether Bitcoin can serve as a strategic tool for national power.
Hegseth’s reply was blunt: “Yes and yes.”
He confirmed Bitcoin provides real strategic leverage over China and other adversaries… and revealed the Pentagon is already running classified initiatives both to enable and to counter the technology.
It lines up with earlier military experiments testing Bitcoin nodes for hardened, censorship-resistant communications and cybersecurity, plus the 2025 executive order that created a U.S. Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
Interestingly, CIA Casually admitted that Bitcoin Is Used As A Surveillance Tool: “Bitcoin isn’t truly anonymous… it’s a TOOL we use for intel gathering.”
