I want electric cremation and my ashes to be mixed in the food of a pure vegetarian Jain/Brahmin hotel. 😛 They will remember me for the rest of their lives. More than their own family. Their God.
As a Hindu, I wish to be cremated when I leave this world, for I believe that we are born from nature and must eventually return to it. But I have one heartfelt wish , i don't want my ashes immerse in any river. Our rivers are sacred gifts of nature, and I would never want my final journey to contribute to their pollution. Instead, let my ashes be scattered from a mountain, and absorbed into the vastness of Mother Nature. Let the mountains hold my final goodbye, the breeze carry my last whispers, and the trees, flowers, and soil become a part of my eternal journey. I don’t wish to leave behind a burden on this planet, even in death. I wish to return to the elements peacefully, without harming the very nature that. my final act on this planet be one of love, not pollution. Because for me, true spirituality is not just about how we worship nature, but how gently we leave it behind. 🌿❤️ 😇 #MyWillAfterIDie

The Whole World should thank Brazilians 🇧🇷 ❤️ Most people have no idea how important these elections were. It was the difference between saving the Amazon Rainforest or its total destruction in the hands of Trump’s oligarchs. The lungs of the Earth are safe, for now 🤞

#tepeat. Criticism, rejection, judgement of Islam, Muslims, Mohamed is not Islamophobia. Hating Muslims because they are Muslims, judging all Muslims and hating them because they are Muslims is Islamophobia. To generalize, hating people just for the religion they follow is bigotry and religion phobia
Secular liberals are often more Islamophobic than anyone else, they just pretend to be liberal. At least Bhakts don’t pretend to be something they’re not.

The actions of many Congressis over last few months prove that either Rahul Gandhi is a fraud or that he has minimal control and power over his own party. Either way not good. The vicious disgusting attacks by their IT cell on CJP and especially Dipke. Their attacks on Sharjeel l Imaam. I personally know many Congressis who are decent people. In both real life and Twitter. Why silent? Hum toh bindhaas bolte against AAP and AK if we feel something is wrong.

"India is secular because Hindus are secular." As long as we keep repeating self-congratulatory lies like this, we'll never have an honest conversation about equality, justice, dignity and fraternity in India.
Qureshi Saab said India is secular because Hindus are secular. I disagree, for two reasons. Firstly, secularism is a spectrum. Even in its best phase, India was only relatively secular: let's say 3 out of 10, closer to zero than to 10. Secondly, there is no proof that India is secular because of its Hindu majority. The Indian Constitution is relatively secular because a handful of leaders at the nation's birth were secular, and they put that constitution in place. But a constitution means little when communal forces take over, and it is rarely implemented in its true spirit. Those forces have been present in power since the very start. The day most Hindus got a chance, they started voting for the BJP-led alliance, led by one of the most communal parties in the world. I am underlining this because "Hindus are secular" is a line that gives communalists a free pass. It hides the true face of communalism within the community. Hindus are no more secular, and no more communal, than any other religious group. No community deserves a blanket certificate of secularism. We have seen numerous communal crimes in India, and the perpetrators hide behind this very line. It is their "Suraksha Kavach," and we have to break it. There can be no real truth and reconciliation without first speaking the truth.

Calling out extremism is not Islamophobia. That’s exactly what I’m saying. A person who calls out extremism shouldn’t automatically be labelled “Islamophobic.” Islamophobia has a completely different meaning, and we shouldn’t confuse the two.
It's not that you will criticise Islam but you will not face criticism from Muslims. When somebody start throwing label like "Supremacist" or "Islamist" without engaging with the argument put out by a scholar, it's certainly Islamophobia.

This is what pseudo-Islamophobic liberals enable when they spend more time policing Muslims for their political views than addressing the problems they face and confronting the hatred directed at them. After I made a post about Sharjeel Imam, I received these messages on Substack from an account called "Bhagalpur Cauliflower Farmer" calling Muslims an 'invasive mongrel breed' threatening to bash their heads in and expressing the desire to see Muslim women and their families gone. The name itself is disturbing when you remember the 1989 Bhagalpur massacre, where 116 Muslims were killed in Logain village and their bodies buried in a field where cauliflower was planted to hide the mass grave. May this country be healed!

True slavery is being Trump's bitch while being the PM of a sovereign nation. True slavery is bending before Trump and Pakistan in less than 2 days during Operation Sindoor.

Infact I’m going a step further on this one. All white ball (t20 and ODI) series should be mandated by the ICC as either: - tri series with 2 full member and 1 associate nation - quadrangular series with 3 full member and 1 associate nation For example, if England are playing South Africa away then Namibia becomes the third team Or if England are playing India away then it becomes India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Better games, more jeopardy and growing the game in other nations. #PAKvsENG
And look what happens when you finally schedule a tri series. Ban bilaterals.

When Bolsonaro was disgracefully invited as Chief Guest for our Republic Day Parade in 2020, several of us in Mumbai held a protest at Churchgate Station against an abandonment of “Indian values” by a government that turned a blind eye to his environmental destruction, his homophobia, his deep links to organised crime. “Aarey, Amazon, queer ladhai, Modi-Bolsonaro bhai bhai” was the slogan coined at that protest. Today, as the son of one far-right bigot bites the dust in Brazil, much to the relief of so many who were terrorised under his father’s last regime, there is hope reignited for change across the world. Congratulations, Comeback King @LulaOficial. Here’s hoping we can invite you to a Republic Day Parade in New Delhi soon.

I don't care for his politics (though I'm impressed, its better than I thought). But can't Mamdani be the face of Indian Americans? Not that smarmy twat in Ohio who attacked a woman for being raped as a 9 year old and now can't go anywhere, because nobody wants him in their town.
New Yorkers love them some Mamdani lol
