I hope I don’t get dragged for this too. First of all, different men ultimately want different things from a woman, so don’t ever feel the need to be a one-size-fits-all for men. You will just be stressing yourself. Secondly, a woman who depends completely on her husband financially, is not a liability insofar as she is providing sufficient value elsewhere. Finances are not the only substance marriage is made of and I think too much of a deal is made of it than should be. There are other areas where a woman provides value to her man that trump financial contributions. Some of them are: spiritual value, homeliness, good parenting, good sex, emotional and mental support, and even career support. If she is providing sufficient value in these areas, financial support should be negligible, especially if she’s not of the means. Thirdly, the concept of “independent woman” is a facade to me, coz nobody in a union should be independent- man or woman. Coupling is all about co-dependence and interdependence. I traditionally believe that a man should provide for protect his woman primarily, regardless of her means. But I also acknowledge that there are situations where the woman may be of better means and the man is unfortunate financially. In circumstances like this, the parties must take extra care to make sure that they don’t allow pride to creep in, causing them to sabotage their relationship. I want to wrap this up, so I’ll conclude by saying, the reason some of these issues arise is because people don’t learn to love each other perfectly. If couples learn to love each other right, then the things that sprout animosity amongst couples would not exist. Love is patient, kind, humble, not jealous, not resentful, doesn’t keep records of wrongdoing, it corrects in love, respectful, supportive, etc. Whether a woman is completely financially dependent on her man or she is financially sufficient by herself, should not define the set up in the union. Just love, support and honor each other the right way and none of these worries would rear their heads.
If a woman depend solely on her husband for financial assistance, She is a liability right? But if a man marries an independent woman, some men become so insecure and tag her prideful. So now I just want to ask, what do men really want?? You want us to work or not?

If a man flirts with you knowing you have a boyfriend, he doesn't think you're a great woman. He thinks you're easy and not loyal. If he knows you're taken and still slides,it's not a compliment. It's an insult with cologne on it. He looked at you, looked at your man, and decided: "She's not that loyal. He's not that much of a threat. I can take this." And if you smile? If you laugh? If you "don't want to be rude"? You just told him: "My loyalty is negotiable. My man is optional. Try harder." High-value men don't flirt with taken women. Low-value men do. And they only do it because they smell weakness. They smell a woman who likes attention more than she loves her man.

✨ Joao Cancelo appreciation post: • In his first spell at Barcelona, João Cancelo left Manchester City to join a Barça side still rebuilding. He waited for the club and accepted a salary reduction to make the move happen. • In his second spell, he once again adjusted his salary, this time from Al Hilal,t o return to Barcelona, despite his first spell ending largely because of the club’s financial problems. • Now, for his third spell, Cancelo has GIVEN UP up part of his SALARY to help terminate his Al Hilal contract and join Barça as a free agent, preventing the club from having to pay around €10m for him. He has repeatedly made sacrifices because he genuinely wants to play for Barcelona. These are the kind of players worth having at your club. Football needs more João Cancelos. 👏❤️

Avoid borrowing for pure consumption, temporary experiences, or rapidly depreciating items that leave you with nothing of lasting value once the money is spent. Things you should not borrow for: 1. Wedding (you can always renew your vows later if you choose). 2. Funerals (what's the point?). 3. Vacations and holidays, especially abroad. (Consider visiting local places like Abeokuta, Jos or Owerri or staying in your village instead.) if you have the cash, spend it, if you don't have the cash, then chill. its not by force

Tunji Andrews, co-founder of Awabah, gives a masterclass on how to fix power in Nigeria. He says the Transmission Grid should be sold to the private sector. Amaka responds by saying you can't fix power without growing the economy.

The Bible serves as a comprehensive guide to business concepts, covering financial principles such as strategic planning, demand, supply, inflation, infrastructure, trade, currency, and even succession planning. Read it with an open heart.

116 minutes played and not even a single shot at goal? I’m sorry, but Argentina simply wasted this final slot. They should have just let England scale through and we’d have had a much better World Cup final that would have been worth our while. #ArgentinaVsEspaña

Argentina will lose and they don’t even deserve the silver medal. Terrible showing for a World Cup final. #ArgentinaVsEspaña

The difference in quality is too embarrassingly wide for a World Cup final. Spain has been running circles around Argentina for 90 minutes. The only thing missing is a goal.
Argentina cannot beat Spain. I’ve seen enough.

I named an alternative but you’ve deliberately chosen to be blind to it: PATIENCE. Alvarez is still young and has time. The very season he moved, all the space he needed opened up in the team and he could have played nearly every game. If he held space for another season or two, he would have: 1. Had much more game time; 2. Won more trophies as against going trophies for two years; 3. Been in a very pole position to make a way easier now to his “dream club”. There’s a reason patience is called a virtue. Making the move to Atletico was a net negative for him and benefited him NOTHING. His level of play didn’t even go up by an inch, so what did the “regular football” earn him? When making a move in your prime or when you’re approaching your prime, you should move upward and not downward. Moving to Atletico was a downward move and look where it has gotten him.
You can’t call any other alternative because there isn’t. If there were you’d have mentioned it the two times I’ve asked. So I’d tell you Most footballers play football for 2 reasons; 1. To win trophies 2. Game time After winning everything there is to win, moving to Atletico from Man City knowing you’ll be guaranteed 100% game time isn’t a bad move.

Not Atletico. Again, a little patience pays off.
Not atletico isn’t the answer. he was tired of sitting on the bench for the most important games at Man City and wanted to play regular football, where else could he have gone?

Like they did against England. Use the first 10-15 mins to disrupt them. Rattle them, don’t let them settle into their rhythm. Then try to get the ball to Messi in central areas for the remaining part of the first half. Then see what happens. I particularly think Argentina play 4 different styles with the 4 diff halves of football.
Genuinely, how do Argentina navigate this game against Spain? Spain keep the ball well, not sure the aggressive tactic will work against them.

Not Atletico Madrid. And patience is also a thing, you know. If he waited for one more year, he’d have played practically every game in Pep’s final two seasons, and would have had an easy move to Barcelona this summer. And winning everything there is to win (just once for the most part) especially at his young age, is not a justification for the downgrade move he made. You cannot have real ambition and think, “Oh, Atletico Madrid is a great club to play in”.
No. He had won everything there is to win and wanted regular first team football away from the constant Pep rotation. Atletico offered that. Barca couldn’t at the time no thanks to our financial situation. Where else could he have gone to?
