Pink October at the National Service Authority Headquarters.
Our staff and Service Personnel turned out for free breast cancer screening, and went home with more than one answer about their health. Blood pressure, blood sugar level, glaucoma and Hepatitis B checks were also available on the day.
Your health is not something to guess at. Early screening saves lives, so make it a habit.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to be checked.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our Director General, Ms. Ruth Dela Seddoh, has an important message for every Service Personnel and every Ghanaian.
Early detection saves lives. Know your body, go for regular screening, and encourage the women in your life to do the same.
Today, the National Service Authority, together with The LivingStone Foundation, is offering free breast cancer screening.

Early detection saves lives. Come get screened, and encourage the women around you to do the same.
Hello, kindky reach out via dms and let's get to the bottom of this.
The National Service Authority needs to get their staff in check. It is completely unacceptable that an employee took my personal phone number from my certification paperwork just to text me. This is a massive breach of data privacy and professionalism @_nsagh @DPC_Ghana
Education is only the beginning. The real transformation happens when knowledge meets opportunity and learning translates into impact.
From the classroom to the world of work, the National Service Authority is bridging the gap between education and employment by equipping young people with practical skills, strengthening workplace competencies, and preparing a skilled, confident, and future ready workforce to drive Ghana’s development.
The National Service Authority has extended the 2026/2027 registration deadline from October 15 to Friday, October 23, 2026.
All National Service Personnel who are yet to complete their registration should do so before the new deadline and follow the prescribed registration procedures.
Do not wait until the last day.
Every harvest begins with a decision to show up.
This National Service initiative brings together NSA staff and interested personnel to grow food, build practical skills and strengthen the agricultural supply chain, from poultry to maize to tomatoes.
The results are showing. From Papao Farms to the farms across the length and breadth of the country, the work on the ground is producing food, creating opportunities and proving what national service can deliver.
Growing Ghana.
Powering the Future.
The NSA will release the second batch of 2026/2027 postings today, 12th October 2026, with subsequent batches to follow in the coming days. Prospective personnel yet to be posted are urged to stay calm, as all eligible applicants will be posted in due course.
The Authority is placing greater emphasis on private sector placements to give personnel relevant workplace experience and skills, and to encourage host organisations to retain them after service. Private sector organisations are invited to partner with the NSA by offering placements and considering qualified personnel for permanent roles.
Updates will come only through official NSA channels.
Have you considered a private sector posting for your national service?
It is a chance to build practical skills, see how businesses actually run, and meet people who can shape your career. You serve your country and start your professional journey at the same time.
Your service year can open doors. Make it count.
