NSA Engages 24-Hour Economy Secretariat to Drive Poultry Value Chain Transformation The National Service Authority (NSA) today engaged the 24-Hour Economy Secretariat to explore a strategic partnership focused on transforming Ghana's poultry value chain through large-scale agribusiness. Led by the Deputy Director-General for Programmes and Operations, Lt. Col. Moses Dok Nach Kpeungu, the NSA presented its flagship 24H+ Project, an integrated model designed to drive continuous, round-the-clock agricultural production. At the heart of the initiative is a Maize-Soya Broiler value chain, linking feed production to poultry farming and processing under a 24-hour system to improve efficiency, boost local production, and reduce dependence on imports. The project also aims to create sustainable jobs, particularly for youth, women, and persons with disabilities, while advancing food security and industrialisation. Both institutions highlighted the importance of financing, technical collaboration, and market linkages to ensure long-term sustainability, especially in addressing high production costs such as feed. The engagement reaffirmed a shared commitment to building partnerships that will drive implementation and support Ghana's 24-hour economy agenda.
