And if the Jewish fans agree with Adam Brody, what then?
‘Nobody Wants This’ creator Erin Foster responds to Adam Brody’s support for Palestine: “While I love Adam, I also disagree with him, and that’s OK … I want our Jewish fans to know that I see you and I hear you and I understand how you feel. The show has always been and always will be a love letter to Judaism. That is why I made this show. It’s because of how beautiful of an experience I’ve had becoming Jewish and being a Jewish person. And sitting here right now, at this time in the world when there is almost zero positive representation of Jewish people, I think it’s so important to have that.”

you will never achieve nirvana if you do not first internalize the fact that you can just do stuff
This is great if you still live around people you went to high school or college with. Many, many, many people don't do that. And in order to make the kinds of friendships where you CAN just go to each other's houses, you very often need to start with activities that cost money

Much to say about this bad, grating show and evil lady I hate lol but I’m both fascinated and triggered by how insularly many Zionist Jews live. The idea that their beliefs are chill and not controversial… diversity of Jewish thought is an unknown unknown to them!
“Nobody Wants This” creator Erin Foster has responded to Adam Brody‘s support for Palestine, saying: “I disagree with him, and that’s OK.” “You know, it’s complicated,” Foster said of Brody’s comments. “I think our work environment, our set is very similar to dinner tables around the world where people are having debate and discussion and disagreeing. And, you know, while I love Adam, I also disagree with him, and that’s OK.” “[I want] our Jewish fans to know that I see you and I hear you and I understand how you feel. The show has always been and always will be a love letter to Judaism. That is why I made this show. It’s because of how beautiful of an experience I’ve had becoming Jewish and being a Jewish person. And sitting here right now, at this time in the world when there is almost zero positive representation of Jewish people, I think it’s so important to have that. Everyone is entitled to a different opinion. I can just tell you what I created this show for, and what the intention of the show is.” variety.com/2026/tv/news/nob…

If you want Jewish fans to feel seen maybe you should stop portraying Jewish women as bitchy nags and recognize that more and more American Jews are agreeing with Adam Brody supporting a free Palestine
'Nobody Wants This' creator Erin Foster responds to star Adam Brody saying he supports "a free Palestine." "While I love Adam, I also disagree with him, and that's okay [...] I want our Jewish fans to know that I see you, and I hear you and I understand how you feel. And the show has always been and always will be a love letter to Judaism" Foster says on the 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast. (via:THR)

Look at my state rep bro 😭
I spoke with state Rep. Amen Brown, D-Philadelphia, last week. “I think that we really need to govern from the middle,” Brown said to me about the next session. “I do have serious concerns about a supermajority in the state House.” Here's the story: thecentersquare.com/pennsylv…

Oh, it looks like Amy Acton (@amyactonoh) was never sexually assaulted by her stepdad: “A search of Mahoning County court cases shows there is no record of any criminal charges ever having been filed against Donna or her husband in Mahoning County.” Angry Amy has some serious issues.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Court records show Acton's stepfather, Cledith Arthur, was arrested and charged with rape in Mahoning County in 1978; he pleaded not guilty and fled the state before trial, prompting a fugitive warrant. The cited quote refers to charges against the mother, not the stepfather. yahoo.com/news/politics/… yahoo.com/news/politics/…

who said it? i can’t tell from this post. was it perhaps the president ?
The term “Shylock” is rooted in a longstanding antisemitic stereotype. Regardless of intent, its use can reinforce harmful tropes about Jews and normalize language that has long been used to target the Jewish community.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The term was used (for at least the second intent in as many years) by President Trump. forbes.com/sites/siladity… Important context to point out the user of the term regardless of intent.

Hard to overstate how much the Amy Acton Mom ad is what the modern GOP is about. All these anxieties about how people (especially women and children) might use their agency to break bonds of filial duty and free themselves, rather than be subject to control and abuse. We sort of satirize them as the “you can’t groom my kids, that’s MY job!” Party, but this ad is very nearly that explicit argument. They don’t want schools to empower young people to find the autonomy to come out as gay or trans, they don’t want colleges to teach young adults about the breadth of the world and the human dignity of people from diverse backgrounds, they don’t want women to have financial independence and jobs and no-fault divorce. At the heart of the GOP is this very straightforward premise: “there are some people whom it is my right to abuse. They are my property, and they owe me total obedience; freeing themselves from my abuse is a betrayal of natural hierarchy and divine law. You are trying to take my victims away from me, and I’ll do anything to stop you.”
Surprised that folks think the Amy Acton mother ad will work. My immediate reaction (which i suspect will be other's) was: wait, is that her mother? Then I searched for the backstory on Acton's family. And then, well...
