This issue of adulterated and fake food products & medication is one that burns me to the core of my soul. I can forgive, and to some extent understand faking designer and luxury clothing, fashion apparel and perfumes. But adulterating/faking food and medication? Never. At this point, with the massive proliferation of adulterated and fake food products and medication, we need to have a serious conversation about meting out severe punishment for manufacturers, vendors and purveyors of adulterated and fake food products and medicine no matter whose ox is gored.

Do you guys even remember Nabeeha? She wasn’t some random girl whose story we saw on the news and moved on from. She was our mutual. Some of the same people I see defending and doing PR for this government today were right here with us when she was kidnapped alongside her sisters. We watched it happen. We cried. We begged for help. We had to came together and raised money to help get her surviving sisters released. Then Nabeeha was killed. And now some of you have already forgotten all of that because they paid you? What happened to the outrage? What happened to the sympathy you had for victims of insecurity? What happened to all those things you were saying when it was Nabeeha? OMG, This is what pisses me off. These weren’t strangers to us. She was one of our mutuals. We knew her name, followed her, watched her story unfold and mourned her together. We haven’t forgotten Nabeeha. We haven’t forgotten her sisters. And we haven’t forgotten why we were angry in the first place.
