Kashmir is supposedly the jugular vein of Pakistan, yet its protesters are labelled miscreants & armed militants & violent operations are launched in the name of bringing peace to the valley.

🚨 CAUGHT ON CAMERA: AJK CHIEF SECRETARY THREATENS JOURNALIST INSIDE PAKISTAN’S PARLIAMENT
“If this gets into the media, it won't be good.”
The Chief Secretary of Azad Jammu & Kashmir was caught on camera making this threatening remark to journalist Haider Shirazi inside Pakistan's Parliament.
If a senior government official can openly threaten a journalist inside Parliament, how can journalists in Pakistan-administered Jammu & Kashmir be expected to report freely and without fear?
This incident raises serious concerns about press freedom, intimidation of journalists and the lack of accountability of senior government officials.
It also raises urgent questions about restrictions on international journalists entering Pakistan administrated Jammu & Kashmir. Why are independent media organisations being denied unrestricted access to report on alleged human rights violations, killings and the use of force against peaceful protesters?
Are restrictions on independent journalism being used to prevent the international community from witnessing what is happening on the ground? What do the authorities have to hide?
The Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JKJAAC) demands:
- An immediate, independent investigation into the Chief Secretary's threat against journalist Haider Shirazi.
- Accountability for any official found responsible for intimidating or threatening journalists.
- Full protection for journalists and their right to report without harassment, threats or censorship.
- Immediate and unrestricted access for international media, including the BBC, Reuters, Al Jazeera and other independent news organisations.
- Unrestricted access for the UN human rights mechanisms, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and independent international observers.
Journalism is not a crime. Asking questions is not harassment. Peaceful protest is not terrorism.
The authorities cannot demand silence while civilians are being killed and journalists are being threatened. The world must be allowed to see what is happening in Jammu & Kashmir.

This is how shameless people / touts describe state brutality against innocent people demanding their rights!
After months of patience and restraint in the face of ongoing sit-ins and disruption in Rawalakot AJK, the state is finally moving to restore order.
Security forces have launched a decisive clearance operation against armed JAAC miscreants who have long held public spaces hostage. The bus terminal is now fully cleared, and operations are underway at Chinar Chowk.

Our collective indifference and disunity have made it far too easy for military junta to carry out massacre after massacre. Kashmiris are being killed and rest of Pakistan largely look unbothered. Then we wonder why we are in such a mess.
“Security forces attacked the area early in the morning. There was heavy firing”, says an activist in in Pakistan-administered Kashmir's Rawalakot region, as intermittent gunfire can be heard in the background.
The individual who has his face covered can be seen traveling with a group of other men, who reach a tented protest site, where others have also gathered.
“You can see how charged up and enthusiastic the people are”, says another activist (around the 54’ second mark in the posted video), “people are being injured by live ammunition, but they are ready to make history in this region. People are willing to die (be martyred) but will not back down (from their demands). God willing”.

This has given me decades of trauma and I still don’t know how it works. The inventor of this was a truly evil sadistic man.
Cheezious a Pakistani pizza chain has opened its first branch in the UK, in Ilford, London.
Instead of seeing this as a positive step a homegrown Pakistani brand taking the risk of expanding internationally, some people are busy tearing it down. You don’t have to like their food. Taste is subjective. But there’s a difference between constructive criticism and simply refusing to appreciate the effort and risk involved in taking a Pakistani brand abroad.
Supporting Pakistani entrepreneurs who try to scale beyond our borders doesn’t require you to become their biggest fan. It just requires basic perspective. Constantly punching down on any Pakistani success story while offering nothing of our own doesn’t help anyone. #Cheezios
